Throw The Ball In the Hole is a VR exclusive first person physics puzzle game where you must throw a ball into a cup (not a hole). This comes across as more of a tech demo than a complete game. It's very bare bones and is only functional in a very rudimentary way. The graphics are reasonably poor, being just low poly, low effort, mostly untextured assets. I can't think of anyone this would appeal to... I mean, who spends all the money on a VR headset and decides the best thing to do with it is throw balls at holes? Just buy Half-Life Alyx or something. If you can afford a VR headset, you can afford real games. It's noble that the developer has made this free, but I can't see any compelling reason to recommend this to anyone.

At first blush, it's a kind of tech demo. A super simple simulator for throwing balls into holes. This part of it is completely accurate. You get exactly what you're expecting. However... The game runs in the Unity engine with zero frills. so by default you have finger interactivity (for the balls), but otherwise you only have a button (the thumb pad) for teleporting. You can't use a stick to turn you around, can't teleport to anywhere that isn't designated by a green circle, etc. You can only adjust where you are in the space by moving, but the platforms you're on can't be moved in any manner relative to you. Why does this warrant a bad review? Because the lack of ability to control the play space led to floor creep. One throwing game after another led me a few feet closer to a wall, until I full-out punched a wall with an Index controller while trying to throw a ball upward. Basically, I uppercut the wall. That hurt quite a lot and left me worried I had just killed my controller. After doing so, I realized there really wasn't -any- way to adjust the space. No options menus that I could find, either. It has no settings on-load, and it clearly didn't detect SteamVR's basic facin…

Но сложность возрастает с каждым уровнем, заставляя думать о траектории и учитывать различные препятствия. Визуальное оформление минималистично, но приятно глазу, а физика шарика кажется вполне реалистичной. Управление интуитивно понятное, так что разобраться сможет даже новичок. Игра идеально подходит для того, чтобы скоротать время в дороге или просто отдохнуть, не напрягая мозг сложными стратегиями. Однако, несмотря на кажущуюся простоту, в ней есть определенный челлендж, который заставляет возвращаться снова и снова, чтобы пройти еще один уровень. Небольшая, но увлекательная игра, которая может затянуть надолго. Рекомендую всем любителям ненавязчивых головоломок!

Very basic, though extremely fun! Would love to see some more from the game! There were some minor issues I'll list below, though worry not; the game is really fun and playable! -ball collides with teleport area -swinging things sometime stop when you hit time -black area seem one-way; their invisible when you look at the other side of them -sometimes one throw triggers 2 baskets (in the 3 parabolic basket level) -table on right side is not friendly to lefties -index finger when using knuckles oddly doesn't bend properly, where the other fingers do

yes I like this game!!! I got this game FREE!!! I like challenge / skills games so I did not completed all levels YET... But yes I like it and PLEASE make this more content / levels... Because I saw in game say "If u like it please post comment and we will make more content..." So yes please make it more content...
