Lighting gun is a cool idea but this is a really basic game. I was hoping for a throwback to something really inspiring and inventive like Contra or Turrican but this feels more like a Flash game.8 found this helpful
This is a fun and quite challenging game; the elements of it are simple but there a lot of tricks to grasp. It also features a ton of challenges, achievements and unlockables (Weapons, upgrades, cosmetics, etc.) But mostly you get a chain-lighting gun that you can rocket jump around with, and that is a thing that you want.6 found this helpful

Your power is mine!" - Ororo Munroe (Storm), X-Men Animated Series[/h1] Thunder Gun: Revenge of the Mutants is a fun shoot'em up where you utilise a lightning gun for many uses such as traversing through the map, activating tesla coils, activating tesla turrets, and of course. Raining lightning through the hordes of enemies. You can use lightning to charge up and "Thunder Jump" across ledges as well as put the gun into "Overcharge" mode which essentially obliterates everything on screen. There is alot of fun to be had with this game as you level up your character for more weapons, costumes, and perks. [h1]Pros:[/h1] - Shocking Gameplay - Fun leveling and perks - Unique and creative ways of using a Lightning Gun - Retro Graphics [h1]Cons:[/h1] - It is a paid sequel to a flash game. This game rocks! It's challenging at first play, but once you get good at it, it feels SO SATISFYING. This is a game that I keep coming back to, and there's a lot of depth to the strategy once you get to the point where you're trying to rack up massive scores.
