Thunder Jumper

I'm gonna have to be the one to break the 100% positive review rate here. This game is not bad, but in its state, I can't reccomend it. This game could really use some love in many areas, and while the concept is great, there are too many flaws to enjoy the experience. First, the difficulty. If you want a casual player to attempt to speedrun your game (wich is very possible, for example bloodtheif did it well), the difficulty has to be moderate. However, the later worlds are way too difficult for a casual to try and speedrun it. Some of the later levels took me 10+ minutes to even clear. The first world is by far the best in every aspect imo because it is simple to clear, but speedrunning the levels is still challenging as you can always improve. The later levels require far more precise control an mastery to speedrun, so they are less fun to speedrun. Now for smaller nitpicks I had that made my experience worse. the purple world's gun ability is very inconsistent in its reload time. The electric grapple mechanic is very inconsistent and hard to learn, wich could be fixed by making grapple points small, set points that you grapple to if you aim the grapple in its general direction…

this game is very good, although not very replayable.

Really small yet fun speedrun game! I am not sure if this is intetional but I cant swap the abilities that I am using and there are no keybind settings to find out if its just not binded. Hope the Dev noticies this and tries to fix it! But, as I said, still really fun.

the level design is TRASH. it has some levels that are good paced and good gameplay but then a wild level thats compleatly way to hard

Great game should buy.

one of the best feeling 2d platformers ive ever played, looking forward to seeing if i can get the last two hardest achievements
