A place for everything and everything in its place. Unpack and put back items where they should be in a wide array of different rooms from shops, arcades, houses and more. The gameplay for this game is pretty basic but do not let that fool you, the game is a challenge. The first handful of levels are fairly easy but later rooms get more tricky. There are 50 rooms and you unpack one box with various items and have to find where they go in the room. Each item has a set placement and will snap into place once found. A preview of the room will unlock as well as the hint system after a 3 minute cool down that starts when you start the level. There is a wide variety of rooms from bedrooms, shops, arcades, and even some multi levelled rooms. Some issues I had with the game is that sometimes items need to be spot on to snap into place while other items had a more forgiving radius. Also the preview stopped working for me around level 30 but the hint system still functioned. Overall it was a game that passed a few hours and provided at times some challenge.📦

Follow IndieGems for more re…

The game is similar to Unpacking, it is a cozy puzzle game where you unbox furniture and place items into small rooms to complete each space. There are 50 levels in total. You will be dragging and dropping objects from boxes and figuring out where everything fits within a fixed layout. The hint button activates after 3 minutes, and you can choose to turn hints on or off. It’s a cute and relaxing game, simple, easy to play, and great for passing time in a calm way.

Tiny Dream Home is an Unpacking-style game where you take items out of a box and arrange them in the house. It's probably a good one for achievement farmers, since there's an achievement for each separate level, and each level takes just a couple of minutes. It's not that expensive, especially on sale. Unlike Unpacking, it doesn't really have any story to puzzle out, but you do get to puzzle out what the room actually is in some cases as you pull items out of the box. The art style is cute, and some of the room designs are pretty fun. However, there are quite a few downsides. Unlike Unpacking, there is only one correct spot for every item, and the snap is pretty limited for some of them. The placement isn't always obvious, especially since for some items the function isn't always obvious (like weirdly shaped shelves), and the snap isn't generous: for something like a large rug that could sit almost anywhere on the floor, you have to figure out pretty precisely where it's intended to go. Windows are the same. In addition, sometimes you can't fully unpack the box until you've placed more items, though the order of the items doesn't always make sense (e.g. things that need to be pl…

One of the most relaxing games I've played and I very much enjoyed the style and satisfaction of placing the items. I like the style of cartoon image used, its crisp and colorful, very much like a coloring page. I was sad to see it end!

I was gifted this game by a friend: I fully completed this game before reviewing because my friend got it for me, I wanted to give it a fair shake, and the achievements were easy. While the game isn't at all difficult and does have a cute aesthetic, I can't recommend it to anyone else especially not for the price. There is no story, things don't always go in places that "make sense" so you're just clicking around willy nilly until something falls into place, some objects didn't lay correctly (i.e. items clip though shelves), the description sounds like it's AI, and you have to wait 3 minutes to access hints. This strange count down timer is what prompted me to see if this was a mobile game at any point and...I found it fairly easily on the play store. Bummer. Save your money.
