About Tiny Hunter

You play as an antivirus installed on a fake operating system.

Your objective is to clean up more than 100 files to finally access a part of the game corrupted by a panoply of bugs and viruses.

The main character can propel himself, jump, sprint, shoot, pilot a ship, use grapples, swim at any speed and in any direction as long as he masters the key combinations wisely.

You can play at your own pace in normal mode or activate the speedrun mode and try to get the best medal.
A ranking system is also present to compare your times with those of players around the world.

The game is entirely designed to be played with a controller but can be played with a keyboard/mouse if you like "die and retry".

Strongly inspired by Super Meat Boy, Celeste, or Splasher the game deliberately mixes speed, rhythm and combat.

The levels can be completed without ever stopping, so are you ready to take up the challenge ?

Tiny Hunter is a platformer in which you play as an antivirus clearing files of viruses by killing them and platforming to the end of each level. Everything is presented with that idea in mind, with the game's menus being inside a computer and levels being presented as files. Even as a pretence to give players a bunch of levels to play, it's simple but works well and doesn't detract from what you actually want here: running through levels at the speed of sound, dashing like a madman to the exit. Gameplay is on the complex side here, with a huge array of movement options - it truly is a technical platformer to the core. You can run, jump, double jump and triple jump; you can dash forward, but also downward and upward; you can even combine all of these movement options to create slightly different variations that let you get more speed, distance or height. It's honestly a joy to work with such a varied moveset that feels great to master, especially when the levels start getting really hard. And here is where the other side of Tiny Hunter shines: every level has a Speedrun mode, with a timer and no checkpoints. Retries are very fast and thanks to the game's moveset, you…

Just played an hour of Tiny Hunter and it's a great, challenging platformer. Playing without a controller was really difficult (as someone who rarely plays keyboard only) but great fun and I'm a big fan of the speed run mode. Clean and clear UI with a steep but fun challenge curve. If you're into twitchy 2D platformers and have an appetite for speed running, well worth a look!

Great indie game. A really top level design, a multitude of really interesting mechanics and a really hard execution demand. We take pleasure to play and die in loop until finally succeeding certain level. Congratulations to its creator. A great little game to test and enjoy.
