Tokyo Hosto is a deliberately absurd parody visual novel with a launcher bug that requires manual workaround to play, and it delivers roughly 30 minutes of intentionally bad humor that some players find hilarious while others find tedious and overpriced. Players are divided on whether its chaotic, poorly-made aesthetic works as intentional comedy or just fails as entertainment, with common complaints about the short length, random story, and €5 price point not justifying the brief playtime.
I actually have more than 5 minutes in this game it's just for some reason, to play it, I have to use a launcher outside of Steam as there seams to be a broken communication there. So if you also have that problem, Just find the game on your computer and open it that way. It plays it just fine! Now that that's out of the way, this is a hilarious dumpster fire of a game. There are just some games that are so bad they are good and I genuinely believe this is one of them. I get everyone has different tastes but really, just go into this game not taking it seriously and the ending will send you over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ top, howling with laughter. XD3 found this helpful
This game comes with a game launch bug that requires some time to be fixed. After that, you will be able to play this beauty of a game. Tokyo Hosto is a short parody game that is about a life of a Host. It is hilariously bad that makes the game good. This game is not intended to be taken seriously and it does have a slight charm to it. Recommended..if you want a quick laugh.2 found this helpful
I don't even remember anymore how I got my hands on this game, but.. I do remember that I had quite a bit of fun with it, despite it being an obvious mess. On top of that, it's most definitely overpriced. 5€?? Cut it down by 3€ and I would say it's worth it. You only get around 30mins of playtime and the game isn't exactly a high quality play. With the art, story and characters as well as voices and everything else.. being all over the place. It's a bit of random fun, but that's about it.1 found this helpful
This was the dumbest thing I've experienced in my life. You can beat it under 25 minutes. Not recommended to anyone. Abysmal. Avoid like a plague. 1/10
Best game ever made
This is a very short VN. It did make me chuckle - but I do not recommend it, it is too random and the storyline is rather stupid. I got it from a game-bundle.
