Rainbow Six Lockdown is a game I knew I had to come back to and beat again. I originally played it on the GameCube years ago, and it was one of my earliest introductions to the Rainbow Six series. A big reason I returned wasn't because it's considered one of the best games in the series, but because of the memories attached to it. There's something special about revisiting a game that was such a big part of your childhood and seeing how it holds up years later. Going back to Lockdown was a mix of nostalgia and frustration in the best way possible. The game definitely shows its age, especially when it comes to the AI. Sometimes your teammates seem to have everything under control, and other times they make you question every tactical decision you've ever made. The enemy AI can be just as unpredictable, which creates some genuinely challenging moments. There were plenty of missions where I had to retry multiple times, but finally overcoming those obstacles made the victories feel earned. What I still appreciate most about the game is its old-school tactical approach. It doesn't hand out easy wins, and running into every room like an action hero usually ends badly. You have to slow …

Sadly, it doesn't catch the same vibe as the PS2 version.
