Players praise the game's fluid parkour mechanics and competitive ranked system that sets it apart from similar climbing games, with some noting it runs well as a prologue. However, the main criticisms center on poor level design clarity—rocky platforms are hard to distinguish from unclimbable surfaces, there's no camera control to scout ahead before jumps, and the map becomes increasingly confusing and repetitive without clear visual guidance on where to progress next. The difficulty stems less from challenging gameplay and more from unclear design that makes it hard to know where you're actu
This game is a take on the beton brutal gameplay where you climb one big map by jumping on platform ladder trampoline etc. They are trying to be different from it and funnily enough, that's where the flaw appear. Instead of having blocky platform they have some rocky ground platform which are hard to determine if you can stand on them or slide off them. There's no "spec cam" so some jump are just impossible to know where to go since you cant look around a wall before jumping there. The ladder are slow and you cant really stand on them. It's fine that they try to be creative but in this case, it only created flaw5 found this helpful
As if you've ordered "Mirror's Edge" on wish
Okay let's pretend you really want to play this game decently. First of all - the default settings are not very helpful. Just deactivate the FOV jump visuals and set your FOV up to 120%. Now you can see around and don't get distracted by annoying motion blur (or whatever realistic bs graphics was intended by the dev). Next is the setting: You are trapped in a cave probably somewhere in SEA. Sometimes at the beginning you can follow the paintings on the walls but later on in the game they will fade out and you'll find yourself in a mf HOG, like guessing which wall is the next climbable, where to jump safely or is there not a trampoline below which can be used once or twice. Now my main point this game deserves a total downvote - they messed up the ladders. 1.by default you climb down on ladders not rest on the step you are on. 2.to reach the upper step you always have to glitch while looking to your shoes. Otherwise you won't be able to jump off from top of the ladder. 3.because ladders are curved steel hooks in the wall you can be attached to them from 3 different sides while you would only need to climb them up from the …4 found this helpful
My Overview of the Prologue: Has the feel of only up with the movement, hardcore movement which has a learning curve. The parkour feels fluent and different to the likes of Only Up. The ranked system is a very good way of competitive as there is always a challenge. Map is repetitive maybe add more stages with different style. Over all as a demo of the game it runs surprisingly well and game play is good. From someone who is currently rank #5 for speedrun 9/10 - ace62 found this helpful
