Initially I played alone and it was enjoyable enough. I bought it for my friend and going through the levels with her was so much more fun.We had such a laugh together so I'd say the game CAN be played solo but it's much better with friends. 👭 You're trying to climb your way through a house as little toy soldiers starting in the basement and working your way up. I loved the design of the rooms with funny little names given to certain food items or books and references to the studio's other games such as a big poster for Doll Inc and Doll Impostor on the wall . 🪆 There are checkpoints to reach which save your progress so if you fall , its just a matter of hitting "R" to be teleported back to your last checkpoint. The checkpoint is for everyone so if you are struggling to get past a section of the map and your friend was able to progress and reach the checkpoint then you can teleport yourself to the checkpoint as well. My friend was much better at the parachute than I was to our great amusement. Speaking of the parachute, I missed picking this up in my own playthrough. The first parachute in the basement level is supposed to unlock when the player approaches the adjacent flagpole…9 found this helpful

Thank the lord this game was on sale for 83p. Toy Escape is a pretty decent concept, just executed so badly..plus AI.. The graphics are so rough, there's no settings for key binding nor tutorial. Using a controller is practically a no go. 4/10 Rating.2 found this helpful
