About TRAILCAM

TRAILCAM

Step into the shoes of a veterinarian investigator, specializing in forest and wildlife incidents. You’ve been summoned by the Appalachian Mountains Forest Agency to investigate a series of unsettling missing person reports. Every time someone vanishes, the forest is left with ominous traces— blood, signs of struggle —but no bodies are ever found.
The local police have hit a dead end, and now it’s up to you. Could the culprit be a massive predator, dragging its prey to an unknown lair, or is there something more sinister at play? As the sole expert on the case, your mission is to uncover the truth from a remote watchtower , deep in the heart of the Appalachian wilderness.
Using a sophisticated PC system connected to a network of trail cameras, you’ll monitor, document, and report any suspicious activity. As you dive deeper, prepare yourself for unexpected plot twists and a non-linear storyline that will keep you constantly on edge.
Are you ready to solve the mystery of TRAILCAM, or will you become the next person to disappear without a trace ...

genuinely awful and buggy game, cant even get through a quarter of the game because of glitches that get you stuck

Great idea, poorly executed. The time in between is wasted with just standing around. The ending has no resolution. Devs couldnt even be arsed with voice overs, as if you couldnt go on fiverr and hire an actor. The worst is that the game has no real resolution of the "story" at the end, it just abandons you. "Now you know" - what exactly? Not worth 5 bucks. I got it on sale and just played and finished it in my lunch break and still feel ripped off. Could have been a nice quick game, but wasnt.

Fun game, but a short game. I am curious if there are multiple endings. I am a bit disappointed in the killer's disguise. I would love to see a follow up that revealed the specifics of the crimes... like why they were committed.

It was a nice idea, but like other reviews say poorly executed. The gameplay of the game is to wait until computer says motion detected and report on the camera what it is. I failed the first time because you can't really tell the diff between a fox and a wolf models in the darkness of the wild and get a little confused on which one to click on the report. My frustration is if you spend a good 20-30mins reporting and make a few mistakes, its instant game over, you get a phone call saying you're fired and then instant Game over screen. And then you got to replay the whole game without being able to skip the phone conversations and having to wait around for the motion detected all over again is just painful. 2nd attempt, though the whole game I'm spamming the button for the bear deterrent light thing at the door. I look at camera just after I've spammed the alarm thing to max. instantly see a head telling me to turn around. I leave the camera and instant death.. What's the point in the bear deterrent if it doesn't even do anything???? I don't want to go through the pain of waiting and going through all the phone calls to get where I was and to attempt to finish it.

Pros: It's a fun short game! Reminds me of Fears to Fathom Ironbark Lookout! I really enjoyed the graphics and felt it had pretty decent jump scares! I also liked having to race back and forth between the computer and trap + trying to spot the animals or whatever triggered the camera off in a short amount of time! A race against the clock in a way! Cons: I wish you could interact with the environment some more. Pick some items up and examine them, have a few things that are quick to read around for a little more entertainment while waiting for the cameras to go off. Luckily I had my chat with me to talk to when I had to restart the game (I didn't spot a few things and so the PC locks you out after 6 mistakes, meaning you have to start the game over). And either way it didn't take me long to get where I was, which was the end! I do see how this can be a bit of a slow game for some who may be playing by themselves... Overall Opinion- I liked the game! It seems to be the developers first one as well! You did really well with the atmosphere and the graphics, as I said earlier, are pretty nice! I know a lot of the reviews are negative, but it's a fun and short game to stream with fr…

Awful game. It is a really nice idea but is poorly executed. The images for this game are misleaging, cause you only look at a monitor the entire game (the full 1-hour of it). Aaand, if you make a mistake, you need to play the whole boring stuff again from the beggining. I want my money back
