Treeker: The Lost Glasses - Classic + Remake Edition

Rather boring puzzle game. Everything felt tedious and the puzzles are mediocre at best. Meh.

Treeker: The Lost Glasses - Classic + Remake Edition is a low poly first person adventure/platformer games. Solve some puzzles, jump on some platforms. You get a pair of glasses that helps you see invisible stuff, which is probably better for you than drinking enough 4-Loco to achieve the same effect. One important note is that even though this is an amateur project, it does seem to be sincerely and genuinely made. I couldn't find any flipped assets, plagiarism or any other kind of insincere actions from the developer, but unfortunately genuine intentions alone are not enough to produce a brilliant PC gaming experience. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. This game is tedious. Most of my (short) playtime was spent knowing already how to get to the next area, or how to solve a puzzle, but just waiting for treeker's pudgy butt to shift into gear. Yes I know about the sprint button, nearly got a cramp from holding it down so long. This game is needlessly self-indulgent in how slow the character moves, and how environmental items move/shift position. I have a feeling I didn't even reach the real meat of this game, but I think to get there would've put me beyond the threshold of refunding. (Don't even remember when or how I got this game)

Hero searches for glasses while the world freezes in endless loading. Controls crawl, plot loses sense. Still I grin when NPCs wear top hats and juggle pineapples.

Short, fun, tricky but fair platforming puzzler.
