Although it's unpolished at points, Faraway: Puzzle Escape is still an entertaining and relaxing experience. Gaining new degrees of motion from the original, the puzzles translate well into the more open movement style. The puzzles are creative, easy to follow and unique, but janky at a few points. I was prepared to give this a positive rating up until around the 2/3 mark, but the abrupt 'ending' of the story and the obtuseness of some of the later puzzles -- a couple, it felt like the clues did not match the solution -- means I have to give this a thumbs down. I feel bad about doing it given the extremely low price I bought it for, but here we are.1 found this helpful
Potential yet there are so many things wrong. Thought I was not understanding the puzzles properly, then turns out some puzzles actually don't make sense and its a random code and not a puzzle (likely because of phone game port issues) with one level "line" serving no purpose adding to the confusion of solutions, in addition to making the game lasers "too fast" making level 17 quite the challenge. A fun simple puzzle game this is not as you will need to look up a guide for some segments, not because of a skill issue but due to there being no logic.1 found this helpful
Hours of game play, tricky puzzles that keep you on your toes and a great variety. The story line is intriguing as well, I recommend it and am looking forward to playing the sequels!
Great game really fun the 3 bucks i spend were worth it also lore :)
