About Turbo Shell
Turbo Shell is a fast-paced precision platformer with a unique movement mechanic: instead of running and jumping, you push and pull yourself through levels as Craig the Egg with the help of the EPS (Egg Propulsion System).
The EPS allows you to glide through the five worlds of Turbo Shell: push yourself off surfaces using the blue ray, or pull yourself towards walls and ceilings using the orange ray.
Using the EPS is easy to learn. By perfecting your moves, you'll find even faster and more efficient ways to complete levels. Enjoy the rewarding feeling of skillfully flying through the different worlds and climb up the ranks on the leaderboard.
Sizzling laser barriers, flying buzzsaws and hazardous corridors are littered along your path. Avoid them to make sure you don’t get scrambled!
Completing levels without getting smashed will become more and more difficult as you progress. Instant respawns and checkpoints will help you stay motivated and reach your goal.

The universe as we know it is in danger at the hands of the malicious Evil Egg, but, as Craig, you can save it by collecting targets that are scattered throughout each level. Make sure to reach them all in high-speed to get rewarded with a spot on the leaderboard!

Solid, challenging platforming gameplay with great visuals and a BANGER soundtrack!1 found this helpful
Great game with a great old school synth soundtrack! Perfect for anyone who loves to beat highscores! (Try to beat my Level 1 OG highscore if you can!)1 found this helpful
A perfect mix between Super Meat Boy and Super Mag Bot. The mechanics are extremely fluid and facing the increasingly difficult level design will force you to master those mechanics. I really recommend it.1 found this helpful
A really polished, fun, and challenging game with unique movement mechanics. It feels really polished, and you should give it a tryif you like fast, skill-based platformers. Pros: - Very crisp and responsive controls. - Awesome music. - Clean and beautiful graphics. - Skill-based gameplay, not luck-based. Once you master a level, you can do it fairly consistently. - Every death feels like "I can do this better", not unfair. - Impressive replays of all your 100+ deaths at once, when you finally finish a level. - Eggxtra characters to unlock. - Eggceptionally eggcelent puns. Subjective: - It's bloody hard, but I guess you knew that already. And you will get better at it, which feels awesome. - Sometimes you have to take a break after dying over 9000 times to avoid smashing your controller into your screen. Cons: - There is no kids-friendly mode with fewer or non-lethal obstacles* * I guess it would be tough to balance a dedicated "kids mode" up to the level of polish of the rest of the game, and the devs have to prioritize to get anything done. On the other hand, kids don't much care about balance, they just want to have fun.1 found this helpful
cool game, needs a lot of practice though
Extremely well made speed game with interesting, but simple to learn mechanics. While I sadly haven't had the time to play through the full game yet, world 1 is already enough to sell me fully. The skill ceiling is incredibly high and its very fun to grind out good times, but also just a blast to play through regularly. Whether you like grinding times against your friend, or just like to play a fun platforming game, Turbo Shell is for you!
