About Twin Stick Tennis

Welcome, aspiring ball smacker,

Combine these elements you can play slow tactical padel matches or test your reflexes in lightning-fast tennis matches. Victory is at your fingertips as you have full control of the player and racket (see gif above). Celebrate becoming a champion or give your racket a stare of disapproval.

A tennis game with novel controls that takes a bit of getting used to, but that's how it should be, the game's hook is it plays differently. Move with the L stick and swing with the R, you need to get your timing down to hit the ball in the ideal part of your swing to put it where you want it to go. There's a training mode, match play where you can set different options like CPU difficulty and behavior, and a score-based mini game that sends balls at you rapidly and you have to return as many as you can in under 30 misses. Fun little game, one that I'll likely keep installed to play a quick match now and then, but it really feels like it needs more modes (like a tournament and more arcade style modes) for the price. 7/107 found this helpful
Played the demo before it came out and loved it. Inmediately added to my whislist and bought it. It's a fun, entertaining game, especially if you like Padel, as there aren't any other games out there outside of some crappy mobile games. This one is fun, well executed and hard to master. A perfect game for a quick game on a handheld device like Steam Deck, Rog Ally, etc. The only points where it could improve, IMO, on padel is: - Trying to make the "fence" area react different from walls, right now the ball bounces equally on any side of the court. But considering is an arcade game, even with those differences is super fun, and highly recommended 🙂6 found this helpful
Great little couch game ♥️ would love 2v2s4 found this helpful
Love games where you keep both thumbs on the sticks so that usually means twin-stick shooters. However there are others like Fight Night and NHL that use them well too, so was excited to find Twin Stick Tennis. Picked it up after going on sale and wow! It's way more fun than you'd think just by looking at it. The twin-stick controls are not just a gimmick, they work really well! It's so easy to line up a forehand, then switch to your backhand instead when the ball goes to the other side. This game messes around with the wall rules so you can play more like racquetball and that works great with the twin-sticks for pivoting around when you miss a shot off the wall. Haven't tried multiplayer yet but seems like it will be a blast. This is a simple little game that lets you focus on the positioning and fun of tennis. The control scheme is unique and works extreamly well for swing rackets.
Great tennis game for couch coop.
