Digging this so far, starts a bit slow but is picking up after 3 hours. No sex yet, but the renders are great. Just make sure to whitelist the .exe in Windows Defender even if your Steam folder is already whitelisted, I had 5+ crashes in the first 3 hours before I did that, Windows being retarded as usual. This is a Drifty book, so I really don't need to tell those in the know how good it's going to be. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, if he served food he'd have a Michelin star, it's a must buy for anyone who loves AVNs. And the music this time, just unbelievable how the soundtracks mesh with the story, guy just keeps getting better and better at this.

Oof got really interesting at the end

If you're on the fence about getting this one, you shouldn't be. This is probably a hot take, but I actually enjoyed this more than Leap of Faith. I think Drifty has gotten better at pretty much every aspect of his craft, and it shows in this game. The animations look great, his writing remains among the best in the genre, and the music in this game is also among some of the best I've heard in all of AVNs. The love interests are mostly great, with a few that I really didn't care for, but with the amount of characters packed into this game, I think that's fine. There were plenty of options I could make that actually held weight and weren't just meaningless choices. As far as negatives go, the free roams are what everyone complains about. Personally, I didn't really have a problem with them. I think the hate for them is blown way out of proportion. I don't particularly like free roams, but these weren't nearly as bad as I was expecting them to be. And they really don't take that much time either, at least for one playthrough. They're fine. I have my issues with this game only because I feel it could have been better. The replayability available from the choices you can make vary and makes for interesting stories but it leads to a cliffhanger ending that leaves more to be desired. Too many unanswered questions lie around. The setting being an island where all kinds of individuals live to escape their lives or issues lends to characters from other AVNs appearing in this tale. Spicy scenes galore. It has its funny moments and some of the characters have me looking forward to the next season because of the possibility of what could be. Definitely not the first AVN I would go to but do recommend. Let's hope Season 2 brings the U4IA.
