◼ STORY

In mid-September, a wave of excitement swept over the Horiverti Residence in the suburban hills when the Hartson sisters rescued Joe and his ex-girlfriend, Raina, from a dark alley. Joe could only recall being attacked by an elusive shadow while Raina begged him to flee to safety.

Chaos erupted when a mysterious woman in a black dress burst into the home, firing bursts of energy, only for another mysterious woman, named Annie, to come to their rescue. She led the group to the Enja Defense Science Institute to uncover the truth. Joe, initially disinterested, stepped up after discovering a tracking device on his person, proving that there was no escaping the situation.

The group discovered a horrifying secret in the Institute’s basement lab that connected various mysterious elements, including a shadowy attacker, a space blockade, and a high-orbit space station. These discoveries hinted at a complex web of intrigue involving religious wars, powerful words, and a secretive organization spoken of only by Annie. As the seemingly unrelated pieces came together, they pointed toward a future that could drastically change the world, with the once-deserted Horiverti Residence now buzzing with powerful energy and activity.

◼ INITIAL CHARACTERS

· Joe Castleton: Ophelia's new tenant. Oddly, he can't remember anything from two years ago. He used to have a good relationship with Raina at the same university but seems to have recently broken up, about which Joe is rather anxious.

· Raina Summers: Raina is an ordinary girl, a sophomore in Chemistry. She had nearly a year-long relationship with Joe but it faded over the summer. After an accidental street encounter on Sep 15, her life became increasingly unfortunate.

· Naomi Hartson: Lives with Ophelia, at an age suitable for upper elementary school but she doesn't attend school at all. She spends days leisurely, always coming up with fun ideas. Harassing Joe is her daily vices. And she consistently beats Joe in games.

· Ophelia Hartson: Lives in a suburban villa. Apart from Naomi, there is no other family member, making the enormous villa seem empty. She works as a luxury goods designer at a recently famous company, receiving enviable treatment despite young age.

· Annie Alois Schultz: Known for her intelligence and rare beauty, she radiates charm. However, her strong aura of mysticism often leaves others at a loss, and she enjoys it. She appeared suddenly in the battle against Chava, saving everyone.

· Chava Fon: The stranger who broke into Ophelia's house. Dressed and behaved oddly, with eyes full of resentment. She frequently checks the watch, often muttering to the timepiece with a Big Dipper pattern on its dial.

· Ember Chester: The girl frequently appearing before Joe, seemingly close to him. She is always smiling, gentle, and unobtrusive. Occasionally she shows up in Joe's bedroom in her underwear, leading to a suspicious relationship.

Okay listen. I bought this game expecting standard VN nonsense—waifus, choices, CGs, whatever. What I got was a psychological, stat-driven mystery that activated my last remaining brain cells like a Yu-Gi-Oh trap card. Meanwhile the negative reviews are like: ‘Doesn’t run on my Steam Deck womp womp' (or even this writing is hur hur lke bro can you read) Bro… this game runs FLAWLESSLY on my 2012 laptop that wheezes opening Google Chrome. If your Deck can’t handle it, that’s a you issue fr People are also mad it’s not full of cutesy anime girls...like goobers be tripping It’s almost like… hear me out… this is an actual story?? With writing?? And themes?? Couldn’t be me. Gameplay is so funny too. My stats are normal, balanced, healthy—like a functioning adult. Then online I see other players with builds like: Strength: wet tissue (D–) Psyche: OFF THE SCALE (eldritch horror) Like bro how did you even PLAY like this?? Characters? Surprisingly deep, human, sometimes annoying in the right way. Raina likes me for no reason and Naomi stares at me like I’m an unsolved puzzle. 10/10 experience. Story? Actually well-written. Not horny bait, not fanservice bait, not trashy romance bait. J…

This Review assumes you are already familiar with Visual Novels and you just need a push in the right direction without spoilers. Uberich: Advent Sinners Book 1 is really cool but has multiple issues. The Gamepad Support is really unresponsive and sluggish, which has a negative impact on the feedback regarding the buttons you press. And speaking of Buttons, for whatever Reason the game didn't name its save and load buttons instead its just arrows who go up and down. And if you are like me, it's not that unlikely that you accidentally loaded a save instead of saving it. The Animations of the Text and the Dialog boxes are also really stiff, it would really have benefit from something like lets call it "in between animations" to make it overall more fluid. Also the Narrative tends to be confusing it gives sometimes the Impression of, that youre missing another game or another book how Uberich calls it that introduces the world and its characters to the player. It gives on one hand sometimes the impression that is done by design because two major characters are suffering to some degree from amnesia. But at the same time it throws sometimes names and lore terms at you and don't e…

Every day I see a new SOLO developer setting extraordinary new standards for every videogame genre out there. First time I played a VN like this (yes, even before FATE) and absolutely loved it. Art is amazing, voice acting is amazing, story is amazing and soundtrack follows suit. The biggest "No No" for me was the fact that a 12 year old girl is a romance path for the MC which is 20 years old. You can ignore it and pursue the rest of the amazing cast that it offers, but one has to wonder why it was even created in that way. Why not create like a Nanako and Yu sibling relationship, or even (if it was crucial she was an option) making her 18+? Just found it extremely weird and will be subject to a review change if not something that will be explained or changed in the future. There are some "holes" in the profiles for example, one of the characters
Chava
being 21 years old but in another profile claiming that someone has known them for 24 years ???? Kinda long but I try to be as honest as possible. Amazing potential and hope to see future positive news from the game.

Good story, roller coaster between light heart comedy, intense action and dark fantasy drama. Feel fun all the time. Interactive choice let you manipulate character the way you want. Be funny, Serious, or make cool move for good impression. Characters are independent, they follow their own goal and heart. No group bully like cheap chinese drama or force shame on you. All main character has some kind of power or secret hidden. You will be given hints overtime, make you want to play nonstop. Try demo, if you like, buy it. Quality is well maintain whole game.
