About Mojika - Truth Rears Its Ugly Head
Suteru is an outcast burdened by his ugly appearance who possesses a rare and unsettling gift called “Wordsight” in which thoughts materialize as words. His unique ability allows him to uncover the disturbing secrets of those who torment him and help him seek revenge.
Art by Hamashima Shigeo and narrative by Shimokura Vio.

Suteru's world crumbles when his crush humiliates him with a fake confession of love. No longer willing to endure the ridicule, he uses his powerful ability to expose the hidden truths of the five girls who made him suffer and takes matters into his own hands.

Suteru’s tormentors hide more than their cruelty, and his ability may hold secrets far beyond his understanding. In a school divided by whispers and hidden motives, each path he follows reveals glimpses of lives intertwined with lies and truths that could change everything.
What damage can one boy do with the power to peer into minds, to see through lies, and to drag the ugly truths to light? Mojika: Truth Rears Its Ugly Head explores themes of bullying, revenge, blackmail, and abuse, interwoven with lies, truth, beauty, and ugliness.

Where do I even start? Mojika is such an emotionally moving visual novel. From its unnerving visuals and choice mechanics to the ominously beautiful soundtrack, it is a work of art in its entirety. After getting all of the girls' individual endings as well as the two bad endings, I was about ready to write it off as being a nonstop depressive stream of ugly people getting what they deserve, but upon finally reaching the true ending, it completely redeemed itself. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to people who have a weak tolerance to sensitive topics, or who aren't particularly fond of a lot of bad endings and morally horrible characters, but if you want to play through a story that is as hideous as it is beautiful, then I couldn't recommend it enough.1 found this helpful
Imagine coming here as a Nitro fan, and suddenly it turns out to be more of a Glock Up work.... ´ཀ` Even though I heard that it's not as extreme as Euphoria or Maggot Baits. That said, I still have to replay the visual novel with the developer patch... but it's really obvious where the h-scenes happen; also, from what I heard, the text is also very much censored. Which makes sense because otherwise it wouldn't be possible to buy Mojika here on Steam. The soundtrack and art are very good. MC gets better during the story, but from what he did to most of the girls, it's literally impossible to forgive him. Also,
the worst girl gets to be the true route.
(≖_≖ ) Overall, I'd say that Mojika is very well written. And I personally don't believe that MC deserved the bullying because that's something no one deserves, and it ended up turning him into this awful person. Also, the VN is much better if you just pretend that
Hana
is the canon end.
You are both Man is but a vessel of lust hideous and beautiful Man, your face is like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ war crime I'm both hideous and beautiful I know how beautiful I'm the gratest clown the world has ever seen you truly are He really is scum
