Enelia: Dawn of Madness is a mysterious adventure in a madness-infested world where every choice draws you deeper into the embrace of darkness. While the druids search for the heart of the world, the hearts of the Za'ani are shrouded in darkness, and madness takes on human forms.
Desperation brings you closer to enigmatic characters whose encounters change you. Each of them will lead you to answers, but will you want to know the truth?

In search of salvation, Enelia explores a mysterious world with incredible natural phenomena, mythical creatures, ancient secrets, and dark cults. Embark on an adventure with Enelia and her pet Shio to gain the power of a druid and ascend to the top of the Dre'we.
Enelia: Dawn of Madness is an exciting adventure where your choices will determine whether you become a victim of madness or stop it. Along the way, you will encounter and build relationships with mysterious characters, face and fight mythical creatures, solve puzzles, and undertake quests leading to new revelations, but whatever you do, a confrontation with madness is inevitable.
We have poured our heart and soul into creating this game, striving to make it unique and memorable. We want every player to experience the heroes' stories alongside them and to be moved by the themes presented in the narrative.

An interesting first episode!3 found this helpful
I never write reviews, but I finally have to for an indie game like this. So far, I'm very excited for future chapters! The game runs smoothly (there were some slight audio glitches once etc., no overtly noticeable bugs), and the atmosphere created by the art, music, and voice acting is truly captivating. There is clearly so much love and passion behind this project! The writing, even as an English translation, is delightful. It can be hard to introduce the audience to a high-fantasy world without info-dumping, and I think the game avoids this common issue gracefully. The story is drawn out like a mystery, where pieces are collected gradually (and literally, through the journal mechanic). I found myself quite comfortable with the names, terminology, and culture pretty quickly; there was never a moment where I thought "wait, who? What? Where?". Some people, however, might find the pace to be too gradual (especially if they engage in high fantasy media regularly and want to dive head-first into lore). I only know this because I, personally, tend to get overwhelmed by lore-dumping really easily and quickly lose interest if I am given too many names and concepts all at once, but I find…2 found this helpful
soft lock after fight with snake when playing as reiz... edit: after launching the game via my laptop it did the same freeze but then switched languages to russian but let me push past the soft lock and went back to english. i am now able to continue playing and am very happy. i really want to see this game succeed as i really am enjoying the story so i will turn my review to recommended. good luck in your debugs and patching.
I really enjoyed this visual novel! The setting was super unique and the characters were surprisingly well fleshed out. The story felt a bit short, but it kept me hooked the whole time. Can’t wait for part two to come out!
It's an interesting fantasy visual novel. Traditional coming of age fantasy story contrasted with some very effective ghoulish horror elements. Decided to get the game because the remaining three episodes will be released for free for current owners, according to the store page.
