It's yet another copy + paste of Ubermosh, the weirdly not completely failed retro top down brawler/shooter. The purpose of the game is to take the source code, press CTRL+C, then press CTRL+V and give it a new name and publish it on Steam Direct for $100 as if it's a completely different game. Nobody will ever know! It's like printing money! Searching for the term "top-down shooter" on Steam gives you thousands of results... there's thousands and thousands of garbage tier shooters infesting Steam. "UBERMOSH:SANTICIDE" fits right into that category of retro shovelware glutting the Steam store. Only a tiny number of those are any good, and this isn't one of them. The developer keeps copy + pasting + reskinning the exact same GameMaker Studio top down shooter onto Steam... I know people fawn over "indie" amateur devs because of their creativity, but I'm not convinced that copy + pasting the same game onto Steam 12 times is exactly what I'd call "innovation". At this point it's pollution. This is a tired, outdated experience from a tired, outdated and obsolete game genre. The arena is getting more crowded, the enemies are getting nastier, and my survival time is getting embarrassingly short. More powers, more bullets and another glorious excuse to chase a higher score.

Really solid entry, feels more refined than the earlier volumes, combat's tighter and it's just as addictive. Short intense runs like always. Great one on its own. Recommended.
