Ukrainian Ninja

Came to idle the game for the Ukrainian flag but decided to give this abomination a shot anyway. Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed. The fact the game used to be paid is ridiculous. It's almost as if it never left the early stages of development. I know the game is not taking itself too seriously but at its current state it's barely playable and I doubt it's ever going to get better.

Gaming has peaked.

Ukrainian Ninja is a free side scrolling action platformer where we play as a ninja fighting through different worlds with a mixture of melee weapons and guns. The basic idea is pretty simple. We run through levels, jump around obstacles, kill enemies and reach the end while trying to survive the boss waiting for us. The shooting is probably the strongest part of the game. We can buy weapons from the trader, including assault rifles, miniguns, rocket launchers and the classic ninja star. Having such a strange mixture of ninja weapons and modern guns gives the game a silly personality, and it is fun switching between them when we find a weapon that works better for the enemies in front of us. The platforming is fairly straightforward. We jump, climb and move through the levels while dealing with groups of enemies. It is not especially precise or complicated, but the controls are easy enough to understand and the action moves along at a decent pace. There are eight worlds to get through, with each world ending in a boss fight. We also get 24 bonus challenge rounds, which gives us something extra to play once we have made progress through the main levels. The bonus stages are nice …
