About Ultrawings 2
Ultrawings 2 is an open-world, aerial-adventure, made-for-VR game where you earn in-game money by completing a variety missions to purchase new aircraft and islands across an expansive world.
Our ground-breaking motion control system is back and better than ever! Use your virtual hands to fully interact and control your aircraft. Don't forget to deploy your landing gear!

A realistic physics simulation governs each aircraft. Although the aircraft's flight model is based off of its RL counterpart, liberties have been taken to make them uniquely fun to fly.

With several hundred hand-crafted missions you won't run out of things to do (for 40 - 60 hours). Here's some of the challenges you'll face while piloting your aircraft:

In a first for the series, combat missions (entirely optional!) will take your aerial skills to the next level!
Here's just a sampling of what awaits you:

ATTENTION QUEST 3 USERS!!! After a TON of research I have found that to play this on Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop, Secure Boot needs to be disabled in your motherboard's bios. It's a whole thing to get it done - if you are on Windows 11 you will need to turn off Bitlocker / decrypt your windows install first - else you risk bricking your PC. Once Bitlocker is disabled and Windows is decrypted, you can disable secure boot in bios. Once THAT is all done the game will boot from the Virtual Desktop game menu. This is on the dev to fix as the game was designed using outdated practices that clash with Microsoft's vision of secure boot. It's very interesting that the first game doesn't have this issue... I love the game itself, and am just disappointed in the dev's lack of communication on the issue / working on a fix. Most users nowadays are using the Quest headset, and the Steam version is LEAGUES better compared to standalone. Until the game is fixed to work with Virtual Desktop / Secure Boot enabled, I will leave the review as a negative one.4 found this helpful
Don't buy this game, the developer has abandoned development and it no longer works for many people. The problem is that I've had this game in my Steam library for a long time without playing it, so I don't even know if I can get a refund2 found this helpful
the motion controllers dont work.2 found this helpful
Absolute garbage. No realism at all, unresponsive controls, and required me to use a different app than steam to play. The planes just stop working half the time. The game required me to use Meta Link. 90% of the game has nothing to do with combat. 3/10, don't waste your money.1 found this helpful
A unique case where the steam version of a game also on Oculus is just the worse way to play the game. So many technical issues it's actually impressive, oftentimes the screen locks up as if you're not looking around, and the HOTAS support is atrocious, with issues like inverted yaw and no way to fix it. If you look in the forums, the devs have said a fix "soon" last year, so I wouldn't hold out hope. The Oculus version is genuinely fun though and runs fine.1 found this helpful
