Like the Binding of Issac, if everything about it was boring clunky and just not fun at all. The gold was a cool concept, but when gold is your only reward for a room clear 80% of the time, and you lose a ton on death? Not even the massive amount you get from boss kills are worth it. The swing vs throw mechanic was nice, if just... Throwing your axe was better 9/10 because of the rate of how you swing vs throw it. Every run feels boring and samey, due to keys being PAINFULLY rare you end up going itemless more often then not, and even then sometimes you get stuck with bomb relics back to back, so you just get nothing anyways. Curses are like devil deals, if the items you got sucked major balls and you had to take on MULTIPLE debuffs just for a ok item. It doesn't help that sometimes a single curse can be run ending. Overall just not fun, go buy TBoI, with how bad this game is I can't even say Undermine 2 could be any better.

Extremely underwhelming, the game is just too repetitive. Its main gameplay loop is a boring grind across samey rooms and enemies that are more a hassle instead of a genuine challenge. The game is also very boring in terms of theme and setting, its generic fantasy, generic music, it has a few jokes but overall its so threadbare that its hard to stay engaged with the overall story. The main thing that its missing is the sauce or wow factor, its far too boring overall, relics barely do anything, you have two attacks that essentially never change and melee is almost entirely useless. Even the jump is very floaty and weird, and its your only means of dodging attacks, the doge-roll is a staple for a reason, its so bad that simple platforming becomes a chore, since every single health point matters, your progress depends on simply outlasting all the annoying traps. The game is also very stingy in terms of keys or bombs, so half the map is unreachable and the game sort of makes you pay for literally everything, exploration, upgrades, trinkets, and it feels like one of those mobile games where you have to pay to keep playing but its in an indie game. This is literally one of the most fun games I have played in AWHILE. Roguelike games are a hit or miss for me because I find that most of them don't play as smoothly as classics like The Binding of Isaac. However, if you're a fan of The Binding of Isaac, this I would say is one of the most instantly addicting and enjoyable game. Most games replicate the playability of Isaac, but this game is definitely it's own thing and has its own unique gameplay. I've clocked in 5 hours in just about a day and if I didn't work, I'd probably play this all day if I could LOL
