About Uninstall Simulator
Welcome to Uninstall Simulator
In this modern puzzle-strategy game, you play as a remote computer specialist—or at least, that’s what your clients believe.Connect via a virtual desktop to help a colorful cast of characters battle rogue software, deceptive installers, hijacked search engines, and the systemic chaos they cause. Can you navigate the digital mess efficiently and accurately?Accept, Diagnose, Execute
You will receive commissions via the TaskMail system. From harmless complaints like "My desktop icons are gone" to time-critical ransomware crises, every order is a fresh challenge. There are no standard procedures, only correct judgments.Core Features
Visual Deception
The "X" in the top right corner isn't always real. Sometimes clicking it closes the window; other times, it triggers a full-screen ad. The most dangerous part? Sometimes, it actually works just to confuse you.Physical Confrontation
Some pop-ups detect your mouse speed. Move too fast, and the window flees. Some buttons are even affected by gravity, falling right off the screen if you aren't quick enough.Hardcore Cleaning Tools
When standard uninstallers fail, you must get aggressive:- Kill "respawning processes" in the Task Manager.
- Dive into the Registry to root out the infection.
- There are even some “ultimate measures” that exist only in rumors.

Live demonstration of some installers/uninstallers.4 found this helpful
its really enjoyable. Makes you think outside of the box. Sometimes tedious and some of the hints are NOT worth much in terms of help.4 found this helpful
The game welcomes you with a desktop and a few basic icons, but none of them lead to anything particularly interesting. You can browse the two available hard drives, yet they are completely empty except for the folders containing the operating system and the email client through which you receive tasks. You earn money for each completed task, but aside from buying a single hint per task, there isn’t much use for it. Each email includes the user’s problem, a short description of what needs to be done, and a button that lets you remotely access their computer. Their desktop is just as empty as yours. Aside from different backgrounds and the program they want removed, there is nothing to find by digging through a client’s hard drive, and you cannot actually run any programs unless it is part of the uninstall process. The first few tasks are simple and familiar to anyone who has dealt with unwanted programs. You basically open the program’s folder and look for the uninstall icon. This opens an uninstall window where you click through various options to reach the actual uninstall. For example, you might have to select the correct reason for uninstalling or find the button tucked away …3 found this helpful
I just stared at installer windows for hours and have accidentally installed more junkware than I ever thought was possible. 10/10 Each level is a puzzle on how to jump through the hoops of some sort of installer/uninstaller program to achieve your goal without installing extra software. But because it's shady junkware installers, there is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ involved. Lots of it. It will be frustrating. I enjoyed the levels where you must find the correct website to download an app from, although I think the "official apps" being free of junkware is giving them too much credit compared to how they behave in reality. Note the punctuation marks and spacing is weird. Not sure if intended by the devs but the broken looking text just adds to the experience imo.1 found this helpful
