When I first discovered Unknown TD, it was one of those quiet little indie tower-defense games that had promise. Built another tower. Watched myself question my life choices. The game has about as much content as a PowerPoint presentation on tower defense theory. There are 11 towers, but they all feel like the same one wearing different hats. The maps? Imagine five slightly different rectangles. Riveting. My hero had three weapons, which is two more than the game has reasons to exist right now. Every round feels like déjà vu, except somehow less exciting.
