Up hike is a jump king like with the main difference being you can also grab onto side wall. If you hang for too long though you will fall from the wall. The jump power takes longer to charge also which makes for a harder mastery of it. There are moving platform that stop when hanging on to which was used nicely i think in the level. The level in itself was fair, and it had some soft checkpoint to make it fair and not unforgivably difficult. However it was pretty short for me and took me around an hour so i would probably wait for a sale, especially since there is no achievement. And there is a small ick where the transition from left to right isn't instant so sometime you will hold jump before you character turned which will make you jump in the wrong direction which was annoying.4 found this helpful
*Up Hike* is like a climbing trip with a side of chaos! You’re basically on a quest to jump from one floating platform to another, and let me tell you, it’s like trying to navigate a trampoline park while wearing roller skates. One minute you’re soaring through the air like a graceful gazelle, and the next, you’re plummeting into the abyss like a rock in a science experiment! The graphics are cute and all, but don’t let that fool you. This game has a knack for turning you into a rage-fueled squirrel as you misjudge a jump for the tenth time in a row. You start out feeling like a mountain-climbing pro, but after a few falls, you begin to question your life choices. “Why did I think wall-jumping was a good idea?!” Honestly, it’s a delightful mix of frustration and hilarity. Each failed attempt just adds to the comedy, like a slapstick routine where you’re the star and gravity is the ruthless villain. If you’re looking for a game that gives you a workout for both your thumbs and your sense of humor, *Up Hike* is your ticket to an aerial adventure! Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors hear you yelling at pixels—it's all part of the experience!2 found this helpful
