Really should add multiplayer, would boost players like crazy, even if shiftily implemented

Urge is the text book definition of a hidden gem. I know this has been out for a while in early access and can't speak to what the game was like years ago, but right now this is a really great game and totally worth buying. I have no idea how I never heard of this until the last steam sale where I was digging deep through the search lists looking for a new game, but low and behold there it was, a game with an odd thumbnail, Urge. In the beginning I had a love\hate relationship with this one, to the point I even uninstalled it twice because I was frustrated, only to install it again a day or two later because it was just such an interesting premise that I kept telling myself to give it another go, and I'm glad I did. This is because Urge does have some really big flaws and, at least for me, was why I kept getting so frustrated in the beginning 8-12 hours or so. Some of those frustrations continue throughout the game regardless, but it's still so much fun that you learn to deal with it. [h2]Piss-cific Drive[/h2] [hr] [/hr] I haven't played too much, so I can't say too much but, a surprisingly solid survival crafting horror I found the level that you could build onto the car & world to be a good balance of simple and freeform found the, Piss, to be horrific and interesting of "how did we get here" [hr] [/hr] Reminded me of the Forest in terms of game feel [hr] [/hr] I got tired because personally I'm not the biggest fan of survival games & think it could use some more Qol before I commit to a full playing, but is to be said of an early access

The game I want to enjoy, but just can't. It does a lot of things right, but just as many things wrong. Game provides minimal to no explanations for most of the content. There's a loose narrative that gets you going, but doesn't provide any tutorials or anything after the initial cutscene/confusion. It's essentially open world, however key items seem to only appear in very specific spots and don't really change unless another update is released and it's changed to another fixed location.. This ruins the open world aspect as you'll struggle without certain items, such as decent firearms and tools - You'll need to hunt certain items down before the mist/fog becomes too intense and the difficulty ramps up dramatically. It's easy to find yourself trapped in a death-loop as you'll still be getting to grips with the Urge/Urine mechanics. The trailers show dramatic compound showdowns and shootouts, but if you've gotten to that point then your game is essentially bricked unless you already have a staggering amount of supplies on-hand to craft an incredibly explosive solution.. this games base building is the best i have ever seen. super intuitive and in depth, lots of piss too
