Note: Dead multiplayer game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no players, no populated servers. This multiplayer-only game cannot be played as intended.
This is an insincerely made game-jam tech demo, not a seriously, genuinely made game for gamers. Kind of like one of those busy-work kitchen platespinners only worse. So, "URUBU" is a dead multiplayer game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! The chief cause of failure is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so (although in this case maybe they didn't think that far... after all, this is game jam crap, not made for gamers at all). Competition amongst multiplayer centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers,…2 found this helpful
Fun with friends
Pretty fun, but reeeeal short. Would love more mechanics and fleshing out. The level system seemed a bit superfluous too, due to brevity
Before I played URUBU, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
