Valkeala Climb Race is a platformer driving game. The maps are short taking 30-45 seconds to complete. The game gas 9 levels to play. I managed to get stuck on several of the maps so its obviously not completely brain dead gameplay. Adjusting speed seems to help but getting flipped upside down is a tad more challenging. I played this on my Dell XPS 9570 with GTX 1050 Ti Max Q graphics.9 found this helpful

The "developer" paid for/pirated someone else's example/template/tutorial game, changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game.[/quote] Valkeala Climb Race is a low key asset flip. The "developer" has used pre-made assets to build this game with a minimum of original work. In this case, Tero stole a simple Unreal based "2D truck physics" game template and slapped some low quality assets (and some AI slop looking ones) on it, and rushed it onto Steam as a barely working non-game to try get more money from AI slop and other people's work. This is morally reprehensible and absolutely harmful. Tero Lunkka/Valkeala Software have shown a repeat pattern of unethically d…2 found this helpful
Very basic "climb-racer" Couple bugs to stuck, it's up to luck, if u can pass... After chatting with Dev, patch coming... Easy Achievements, 100% / ~15min. (Without bugs, under 10min)1 found this helpful
Valkeala Climb Race is a small indie driving challenge game developed by Valkeala Software in collaboration with Tero Lunkka and published by Valkeala Software. Designed as a lightweight arcade-style experience, the game focuses on short off-road driving challenges rather than traditional competitive racing. Instead of competing against other vehicles or participating in tournaments, players are placed into compact levels where the main objective is to maneuver a vehicle across rugged terrain and reach a target before time expires. The overall design reflects the philosophy of many minimalist indie projects: quick gameplay sessions, simple mechanics, and straightforward goals that can be understood immediately. The core concept of the game revolves around driving a large SUV-style vehicle across uneven landscapes filled with hills, ramps, and scattered obstacles. Each stage contains a star hidden somewhere within the environment, and the player must reach it before the timer runs out. The time limit for most levels is quite short, usually under a minute, which creates a sense of urgency and encourages players to move quickly through the terrain. Although the objective sounds simpl…1 found this helpful
