Velvet Bite: Softly, with Teeth

Like a few other reviewers, I was a Kickstarter backer for what ultimately became this game, and the end result is... frustrating. I have a lot of thoughts, so this will be one of my lengthier reviews. Spoilers will be marked. The original demos for Softly, With Teeth were chock full of charming characters, including a very relatable protagonist. It's hard not to compare this game to what the game was supposed to be, considering they took the general idea for the start of the game and reused the main characters' names. I really don't understand why they bothered using the same names; the characters in Velvet Bite are nothing like the characters in the original. If they'd just changed the names, I might have been able to separate the two experiences in my mind while playing—instead, they just left me disappointed and missing the original characters. i like my games with yuri

The art is beautiful, the voice actors did a great job. Overall, the plot and storyline is good and enjoyable. I also enjoy the dynamic between each characters, and it's such a relief to see they're all treated as their own rather than just some ornaments for the MC. However IMO the romance aspect is lacking and is treated as extra (and not the main point as other Otomes do), so I'd say this is just a romance VN rather the usual Otome. But it's a good game! I love it!

it sure is a fun visual novel and love the arstyle, and characters end uniquestory, ending my first route with a special ending with the devil was truly insane shocker to me! but im happy i bought it for the sale for €10 because €40 its not really worth for the play time i spend on it, i like to spend that money on 52+ hour visual like (slow damage).
