Viking Frontiers: Prologue

Just another game with the same Unity assets as dozens of other games. NPC dialog is slow and boring. Annoying things like not being able to keep weapons on the hot bar and a very slow grind. Nothing impressive about this game at all. One thing is for damn sure, and that is I won't be buying or recommending this amalgamation of Unity parts.

The prologue is so short that it doesn’t give enough time to decide whether the full game is worth buying. The core idea is promising, but the experience is undermined by how much content is locked due to it being just a demo. It ends up feeling incomplete rather than intriguing. On top of that, the NPC AI is extremely poor. Animals run straight into walls when chased, and NPCs in town move in unnatural, awkward patterns. The tutorial explanations are also very weak—you often have to guess what to do, which only makes the experience more frustrating. In short, the prologue fails at its main purpose: making the player want to buy the full game. If anything, it has the opposite effect.

it has some issues but so far it is pretty good.... one of the issues is logs can roll under a house/hut and you cannot get at it... there are some other issues like limited space to move and build (small arena/play area) some graphics need upgrading (meshes and textures) keybindings neen some consolidating... some requirements are rediculously high and some are rediculously low (logs are a bit low, pluse should be able to carry 3 at a time they are not huge and awkword unless you where carrying the entire tree) should be able to catch and raise animals, and of course ride some and use some as beasts of burden...
