Been playing this game for a while and the new update is amazing!
Great team game.
This game is fantastic. It ticks like all of the checkboxes of my favorite genres. Crafting, Colony Sim, Vikings, Combat, Survival. Only a few hiccups - AI is still not the best, tracking down 50 people to give cloaks and clothes because they just refuse to pull them out of storage or mannequins is crazy. Drop rate for Ancient weapons to study is abysmal, years in and I just got a 1h Axe done. Using a high shamanism Villager is key here as my character was getting like 6% per item whereas villager only took like 4-5 to do a full item research. The things this game does incredibly well is everything else. Early game is amazing constant progress feels immensely rewarding. Starting a large project and watching it get completed by the villagers without any intervention? Amazing. All in all 10/10 even the hiccups can't make me give it less.
I wasn't sure when I first brought this game a while back. However I've been nothing but impressed and amazed by how much and how well done this game is. This is my comfort game that I always fall back to even after so many hours. Which with my brain is a hard thing to keep me engaged in a game. Loving the fact it doesn't matter if you been playing on the same world through years or starting new over and over again. Something new always ends up happening and now with these latest changes it's made it a fun way to make it much more challenging.
