I've been surfing for over 20 years. I never thought any game could come anywhere close to approximating what it actually feels like to surf. To my astonishment, playing this in first person does actually invoke a feeling similar to riding a wave. I think this is the closest you're going to get in a game to real surfing. VR might get you closer but I suspect the motion sickness would be especially heinous.2 found this helpful
very basic and niched, obviously a work in progress but with really good roots. I wanted a game just like this when i was 12, and finally getting a game that fit my childhood imagination healed something in my soul. grade a, cant wait to see what's done with it in the future.
fun stuff
Its great, theres no music or sound track what so ever but if your looking for the best surf sim ever this is it, its better than kelly slater pro, looks amazing and the waves at each spot are so different. It is little demanding but the graphics options help tweak that. Like shredders, this one takes a sec but its real good and it looks phenominal
Game is great, especially in first person (ego mode). With VR compatibility, it would be perfect!
