About Void Stalkers
Void Stalkers is a cosmic horror game set in a dystopian future where you are a Void Runner - the pilot of a cargo space ship, under the employ of the WASP corporation. Your job? Transport dangerous creatures known as Void Stalkers to WASP's various research stations. Sounds easy - except your ship is falling apart, traveling The Void is never safe, and the Void Stalkers aren't dormant. Use your ship's security cameras, drone, and other systems to find and deal with anomalies, fires, reactor malfunctions, and other strange things in The Void.Use your ship's security cameras to monitor your ship and your cargo to ensure everything is as it should be.The Void Stalkers you are transporting begin in stasis, but can awaken during travel through The Void, causing reality-warping anomalies. Spot these anomalies and zap the creatures back into stasis before they fully wake. Fail, and you'll need to act quickly to lure them to an airlock and blast them into space before they get to you.Your ship configuration changes with every jump. Create paths for your drone to connect to different terminals or deal with threats directly!A lot can go wrong in The Void. Fires, biomass, trajectory misalignment, infestations, reactor problems, and more!Meet other Void Runners, deal with WASP's management and scientists, and communicate with other factions such as the Lunar Resistance. Each of them will want something from you and most of them have their own agenda. It's up to you how you play - keep your head down and follow orders, side with the resistance, or just look out for yourself. The choices you make impact what you learn and how you survive. It is the year 2972. After centuries of automation, AI, downsizing, and corporate mergers, 99% of Earth’s population is jobless. The unemployed live idle, pointless lives, subsisting on government provided food and living quarters. You were meant for more than that. But jobs aren’t earned. They’re won in a lottery, sponsored by the mega-corps. And against all odds, you’ve been selected. Congratulations! You’re a Void Runner now.Your prize? Minimal training, a barely functioning cargo starship, and 1,000,000,000 credits in debt. What? You didn’t think they’d give you a free ship, did you? And then there’s the cargo. Dangerous Void Stalkers that your new employer, Whitestone Agriculture Transport and Pharmaceuticals (WASP), say they want to study to create new medicines and technology to benefit all of mankind. The Lunar Resistance says otherwise, but they have their own agenda too. The other Void Runners seem to be on the level, but can you fully trust them? The Void is cold and uncaring. The corporations and factions are even worse. Every void jump pushes you deeper into a system designed to exploit you - or worse. But this is what you’ve always wanted. You’ve got your ship, your freedom (sort of), and a purpose. Make the most of it!

I was looking for something to play similar in gameplay and design to titles such as Scrutinized and the earlier Five Nights at Freddy’s games, when I stumbled upon this hidden gem. I have to say—I was absolutely blown away by the quality of gameplay I witnessed! While the core premise is relatively simple, this title showcases quite a distinct personality from other, similar games in the genre and a remarkable level of attention to detail. Although, as you may have guessed, you're confined to a single position throughout the entirety of the playthrough, with only four distinct viewpoints at your disposal, each location comes with its own mechanics and devices that must be memorized and used strategically depending on the situation and the type of alien you're facing at any given moment, so there is little room for boredom; I never experienced a dull moment—I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The creature designs are memorable, the bits and scraps of lore are genuinely intriguing, and the dialogue was clear and, at times, quite humorous. If you can believe it, the company you work for in this game has equal if not less regard for your health and safety than Fazbear E…5 found this helpful

Void Stalkers is an absolute gem of a space adventure, combining the thrill of interstellar trucking with intense, edge-of-your-seat survival mechanics inspired by Five Nights at Freddy’s. The atmosphere is phenomenal—drifting through starfields while ferrying alien cargo, only to have unexpected and often terrifying events throw the routine into chaos. Each incident amps up the tension, demanding creative problem-solving and lightning-fast decisions that keep the adrenaline pumping. The visuals and sound design in Void Stalkers set the mood perfectly, immersing players in the eerie beauty—and lurking danger—of deep space. Every sector holds new mysteries and terrifying encounters, pushing players to adapt to bizarre scenarios that go well beyond typical trucking sims. Void Stalkers is an exhilarating blend of strategy, horror, and sci-fi, with enough surprises and depth to keep you hooked for hours on end. Highly recommended to anyone who loves space games with a terrifying twist! P.S. Don't let the story line fool you. There is lore that would be fun to take a deeper dive into for future games.2 found this helpful

Void Stalkers reminds me of a board game more than anything else. It has a bit of an Elite vibe at first, with you zooming your little cargo ship between space stations, but it soon turns out to be more about scrambling to handle emergencies during transit, which gives it that feeling of being pulled in different directions that some cooperative board games have. In that sense, it's also a bit similar to something like FTL. Fires break out, weird alien mould appears, the titular void stalkers teleport aboard or break out of the hold (your cargo is always some void stalkers - evidently these deep space monsters are in demand for some reason). It's a short game - I reached one of the three endings in about an hour - but it feels like the right length for what it is. The gameplay is engaging and tense in a short game, but would probably get tiresome and repetitive if it was much longer. I enjoyed that each emergency has to be handled slightly differently, and responding to restless void stalkers in the hold relies on being observant. It's a fun little game and I'm glad I played it. Being free makes it considerably easier to excuse the fairly frequent bugs (I encountered misplace…1 found this helpful
7/10 Flawed but fun. The core gameplay loop is really fun: manage various problems aboard your cargo ship from the comfort of your pilot's chair. Turn on sprinklers to put out fires, send a drone to destroy infestations, or use various environmental controls to lure an alien into an airlock and eject it into space, all through the cockpit interface and security camera system. The idea is fantastic and I liked the deliberately clunky cockpit controls reminiscent of 80's scifi. There were, however, frequent game-breaking bugs: Certain buttons that I needed to press often became unresponsive, forcing me to restart the game. Also, the forced addition of cockpit decoration items was really off-putting, distracting and immersion breaking. So was the story, which, at least for me, was not merely unnecessary, but actively reduced my enjoyment of the game. This isn't because the story was bad per se, but rather because it not only detracted from the already enjoyable and engaging core gameplay loop, but also arbitrarily forced the game to end much too soon. It would have been better if we simply had an endless, story-free mode where we just keep hauling the alien cargo to see how far we …1 found this helpful
