I've played the demo before and now that I played (I mean, tried to) the full game, I can say that I am genuinely furious at how a game with such a great premise can have such an incredibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ execution. The developers built a cool concept and then did everything in their power to make the actual experience of playing it an absolute nightmare. Here is why this game is an unmitigated disaster: 1 - Zero QoL / Blind Progression: There is absolutely no Quality of Life here. You are thrown completely blind into the game. No clarity, no proper guidance, just pure guesswork. 2 - Even Catching Trash is RNG-Gated: This is peak terrible game design. If you find a spot where your bait doesn't match the fish, the game doesn't even give you a consistent penalty. Instead, you enter a bizarre RNG roulette where you might pull up literal trash, or you might get absolutely nothing at all. It makes zero sense and completely breaks any logical game loop. 3 - Abusive, Garbage RNG: Progression shouldn't rely entirely on whether the game’s RNG decides to be generous today. Grinding for hours just hoping the right fish spawns is not "challenging," it's lazy and respects zero of the player's time…2 found this helpful
