About Voodoo Garden
Tend a mystical swamp garden where you plant magical flora and catch wild creatures to craft voodoo supplies and unlock powerful spirits. Build your occult empire by harvesting ingredients, raising adorable pets, and discovering new plants, animals, and totems to expand your supernatural sanctuary.
In Voodoo Garden you plant trees, shrubs and herbs in order to grow various fruits, leafs, mushrooms and more. By harvesting your plants and catching wild swamp animals you gather ingredients for your production of occult accessories. And you're not alone. Cute pets keep you company. Feed and raise them and you have the option to make a sacrifice and summon little helper spirits. There are many new plants, totems and animals to unlock, purchase and upgrade. Have fun expanding and improving your enchanting garden!

I'm not sure what I was expecting from this game, but after playing for a while I know it isn't for me. Building a garden to produce items is one thing, but having to click every one of these is another. As far as I can see, there is no option to hire a helper to harvest the plants. Every flower and, in general, all items need to be clicked by the player themselves. For a few minutes, that might be ok to do so, but if there is no way to automate the process, I don't see a reason to continue playing, as it takes too much time and is not fun. Maybe I am overlooking something, and there is a function to have stuff harvested automatically, but I just don't seem to find it if there is one.5 found this helpful

Voodoo Garden is a cute, macabre themed clicker / idler about raising a riverside crop tended by enchanted animal spirits. The vector art is nice and the music is great. Has some control issues, as it is very easy to accidentally pick up a ghost or a charm while clicking around. Most crops can be set to be auto-harvested, but the animal parts need to be harvested by the player. Fortunately, much of the recipes can be completed without animal parts. It's a decent game. Plantera 2 feels a lot more like a complete idea to me, so it's good that it's offered as a Steam bundle with this game. I'm not a big fan of the central theme, so I'm not about to start another run. I definitely hope there's a Voodoo Garden 2, as Plantera 2 was a major improvement over Plantera 1, and this game does have some nice spots that could shine with further polish.
Yeah. Mh... what do I say? It's fine. Never felt like I done anything other zthan I did when I started. Really not a lot going on. Enjoyable enough though. Looks very pretty.
Meh. Barely steam deck compatible. Lots of screen tapping, no auto collect and honestly lost purpose about an hour in. Not really sure what I was working for n haven’t thought about this game since I stopped playing
