VR: Under a Desert Sun was originally planned to be a full single-player adventure with both story-driven content and a wave shooter mode. However, development has been discontinued, and the game remains in its current form—a wave-based shooter designed to test core mechanics.Rather than keep VR: Under a Desert Sun in Early Access forever, I wanted to be transparent and officially close this chapter. I did not reach my original goal of developing a full single-player campaign alongside the wave shooter mode. However, as some players requested, I’ve kept the finished aspects of the game available for those who want to explore them.Thank you to everyone who supported this project—hopefully, we’ll see you for the next adventure!VR: Under a Desert Sun places you in the heart of a classic pulp adventure, reminiscent of the action-packed stories from old movies. Step into the role of a reluctant hero in World War II, battling against ruthless Nazi forces and an ancient magical power that has awakened from the desert sands.This VR experience features realistic weapon handling and immersive environmental interactions, bringing the adventure to life in a way only virtual reality can.While the game will not receive further updates, this horde mode remains fully playable, offering an arcade-style VR shooting experience in a pulpy, action-packed setting.What is there?

- VR only: this game has been built from the ground up for VR. All interactions and mechanics were built to experience in VR.

i bought this for 89 cents and with a few minutes of play time i love it, its evry fun and updated! i do wish it was multiplayer for you and your friends but overall very fun. i would get this if i was you ONLY if its on sale, if it wasnt on sale i would hold off.1 found this helpful
After just 30 minutes of gameplay, I can already say I enjoy this game very much! The guns feel great, the melee weapons are awesome, and the flight is everything I could wish for in a VR game. I highly recommend this game!1 found this helpful
Decent little wave shooter with lots of promise! Dev is very active, pushing updates all the time. Also very active in his discord and very devoted to his game. I got this one on sale but would have gladly paid full price for what's available. Guns feel nice and have manual reloading. Can't wait for the upcoming single player campaign!1 found this helpful
I love the theme of this game - give me some classic swashbuckling action any day! In its current state, it's a bit rough. You can explore a map and walk into areas that certainly aren't meant to be accessed - and you see the gray void that is the end of the level. The airplane flying, for me, was a terrible bright white mess. These bugs aside, the developer is super active, and the game shows promise. The core shooting mechanics feel good. The graphics and sound effects are nice. The starting room especially looks gorgeous. I look forward to seeing where this game goes! Thumbs: UP!1 found this helpful
