Arizona Sunshine® VR Remake

a pretty fun experience!

the best VR game for me, played for 5 times each, part 1 and part 2, the first is even better

It was fun to run back through the game. I beat the original twice. I don't really see anything that would make me want to buy this game separately though. It looked the same, and for the most part played the same. Some QOL things were added, but they could have just added that to the first one (mainly the flashlight on your chest during the underground mission). I got this from a humble bundle and am glad I did. I would have been upset if I paid full price or even half price to play the same game with just the world "remake" slapped on it. Would I still recommend the game? Yes. It's still a fun 3-4 hour campaign. The coop is nice as well. Would I buy this at full or half price? No. Would have to be 75 percent off for me. It's just not worth it at a higher price point for only a few hours of gameplay.

Honestly it's pretty meh. I mean yes, the graphics are great. But there's so many downsides. It stutters even on low settings (I didn't have that issue with ASVR2), the weapon smoothing is stupid and makes it impossible to aim, and the spore zombies and fat zombies just have a ton of health. Realistically it doesnt matter how much fat you have, a .44 magnum is punching through your face in one shot. It should not take a full revolution to take them out. The ladders don't work when climbing down half the time and just teleport you back to the top so you have to grab the side and drop off, taking fall damage. And honestly the graphics are pretty mediocre by today's standards. Theyre good but sooo so so poorly optimized. 0/10 I'll just stick to the original. It's more fun anyway.
