This is a broken mobile app (the game crashes in the tutorial for me). It's also free on Android, so if you think your gaming rig would be better off as a telephone, then by all means ignore this anyway because it's broken. I mean the screenshots even show that this is a mobile app, they're not even trying to hide it! It's a dumbed down version of Civilization. It has a EULA and it looks like they want your email address and they want to harvest personal data from your playing this, if you can get it to work. Basically this is just nasty mobile app cancer and should be avoided.

Looks like this game has a virus embedded in it. Ariva, my anti-virus went crazy after I ran this game. It quarantined a bunch of files including the executable for them game then forced me to restart my computer to clear the memory. I would not touch this game with a 10 foot pole! I have never seen my anti-virus do anything like that in the past.

6/10 An f2p fantasy-themed TBS. Good: - free, and you can play vs AI at least without purchasing anything - a fairly balanced combat system somewhat similar to Fantasy General and Civ 5. There are melee, ranged, flying, and a healer unit + a hero with some abilities - music is pleasant So-so: - English is shaky. The dev is a German, and makes mistakes in English which are typical for Germans. This makes the tutorial harder to comprehend. Though, since I know German, it helped when I tried to mentally translate the text to German and back to English to understand what's meant - the tutorial is there but it's not designed well and obviously wasn't playtested. Too much info is piled in endless popups without giving you a chance to look around or try what's being explained. Also, tutorial dialogs overlap with tooltip dialogs and there is a feeling of a visual mess on the screen during the tutorial - I'm not sure if tutorial even covers everything. E.g. that units auto-heal by 10 hp if they end their turn inside the attack range of a friendly city - graphics are okay-ish: pretty generic and somewhat amateurishly drawn 2D. It's in casual style typical for mobile games but lacks polish,…

Played the tutorial. Game appears too simple. Build town, spawn hero and units. I made a hero and walked over to destroy the AI town. My hero was the only unit on the map. Destroyed enemy town in 2 turns. Then I started a single player game vs AI. Made my town, recruited my hero. Started walking looking for AI opponent. My hero again only unit on the map. Few turns later ran into enemy had 3 flying units and 3 heavy cavalry. My hero again only unit I had on map. Hero can not fight flying units. Unistalled. Multiplayer did not appear to work. Collected resources seemed bugged to me. Looks like if you build more then 1 town the resources the town gathers can only be used in that town not empire wide. Steam has over 90k games so a lot better things out there to play.
