Been having a lot of fun with Warshmallows lately. It must be popular at the moment because there's no queuing for online games, it's just straight into the action. Can also play couch mode. It's crazy fun and 66% off right now so what better time to grab it? Warshmallows is a fun and colourful brawler in the vein of SSB. Gameplay is fast and super intense with triple jumping, jetpacks and super powers, timed levels, and bullets going bloody everywhere. Game looks promising enough and pretty fun to play with friends, but the gameplay had problems. Constant slow-mo effects when playing with 4 players was annoying to deal with. Especially when the slow-mo stops instantly. Stunlocking also isn't that fun of a game mechanic to the person getting stunlocked. Only 1 map could be selected? (Could be player level gated which is dumb imo) Overall if you're looking to buy the game it's still pretty fun with friends, but buy it from a sale1 found this helpful
Really fun game, you can play up to 4 player
The gameplay lacks a little depth. but a great quick couch-coop party game. Maps are well designed, and it's not shabby.
I covered this game at my twitch channel(twitch.tv/senhorokami) today and I have to say I really enjoyed it, it was a pleasant surprise! the game worked really well and only had a frozen frame for a second in the 2 hours of playing it. It it is like a mix of Worms and Bullet Hell games. I played in the South America Server with a friend and it was fast to get a match(a few seconds) we rematched about 2 3 times then started another match. The game is fast paced and you can get bubbled really fast on a round if you don't pay attention but that is a good thing. you can use controller or keyboard&mouse. You canuse both but I thing it is easier to aim with a mouse( was playing with an xbox controler most of the time). it has plenty of stuff that you get quite often, got a captain's hat for the warshmallow I was playing with! Overall I would gave it a solid 3/5, it would play it more and it would be much more fun If I was able to play it with 4 friends and the online is a little confusing. Thanks for the key Lurkit and people responsible for the game!
I received the game for free from Lurkit to make a review in live and this game is really good! I play it a friend and our two laught a lot while playing, but has some problems, don't make the game unplayable but is somethings nice to have fix or add in the game like a invite for friends in menu or something to create a open lobby for players in matchmaking to find my lobby, is somethings nice to have but not necessary. Well for me this game is nice and i will play more times! My rate for is 8.5/10 because the fun i have!!!
