About Wayblazer Dämmerung
Sixty years ago, a young hero founded a kingdom. Today, its royal knights extort the common people. Two brave foragers set out to seek the source of their homeland's rot—and to see if it's time to raise a rebel flag.
Uncover the rich world map of the kingdom of Mickelthy, a tapestry of interdependent towns where you'll discover hubs of trade and quests that bring you into a myriad of explorable isometric dungeons!
After the prologue, you'll be able to choose your own destinations, whether you want to expand your party or dive directly into danger. 30+ hours of adventures and decisions will shape the story and lead you to one of several branching endings.
Build a relationship with every member of your party and every town you visit to unlock new events and gain an edge in combat. The trust levels of each town are the key to progressing the story and may even expand the lineups of their shops!
Choose each member's actions at the start of each turn. Then, each character's equipment and speed stats will determine the order of combat—different spells and feats may also take more or less time to execute. Plan each turn tactically to bring your party victory!
Fish up the big one, solve puzzles, mine for treasure, hunt for prizes, and more! Get hands-on as you extract each region's most precious resources to outfit your party for the quests ahead.
The Setetory region is home to a unique culture of supply and distribution that results in each artisan's workshop having a distinct lineup. Supplying craftsmen with resources and materials found on your adventures will enable them to make you new items and equipment, and each town has its own strengths and specialty products.
A quiet flame is smoldering in the kingdom of Mickelthy.
Situated in the south of the vast continent of Raulbhach, amid the rich abundance of the Setetory region, Mickelthy has in the sixty years since its founding become a hub of skilled artisans who leverage its natural resources to the fullest. The love shared between the land's people and its king, and the smiles to be found on every face, have become a legend in their own time.
And yet, in recent days, a number of problems have risen to the surface.
Royals and nobles alike have begun to make unreasonable demands, monopolizing the fruits of the common folk's labor and ruining their livelihoods, and the unrest this has engendered has been suppressed by force of arms.
The citizenry struggle to survive, avoiding the attention of the authorities and eking out a new, more humble existence in which nary a smile is seen.
One such struggling citizen is Mark, a forager who harvests the fruits of nature and brings them to the crafters whose artifice transforms them to the fruits of industry—and one day, as he returns to his hometown of Kothaerill, Mark learns that something has gone terribly wrong...
The knights of the kingdom—those very men whose charge is to defend the people—rode into town, seized necessities and foodstuffs, and rode off, striking down anyone who disobeyed.
Righteously aggrieved by this honorless conduct, Mark and his friends set out to take back the peace that their kingdom has lost.
Together, they'll take back their people's hope for tomorrow, and bring back the smiles that once graced every face.

After having just finished one playthrough, overall I enjoyed this game. I did not get the ending I wanted, but I also didn't use a guide, and it was fun just going through and randomly seeing what happened. Due to the grindiness of this game, I don't feel motivated to do anything playthrough although I'm sure I missed alot, but I got my money's worth with the playthrough I did. I did not download the R18 patch, since I didn't care about seeing those scenes so no comment on that. I've also never played another Eushully game, so I can give no comparison to their other titles. What this felt like to me was playing a PSP game, the pre-Trails Legend of Heroes games came to mind, as well as the various other JRPGs on that console in which the story was presented in visual novel format. This game is grindy, but with auto-battling existing, this didn't really bother me (I mostly did something else at the same time while going through dungeons). My playtime ended up being a bit higher than I think one playthrough is supposed to take, this may be the result of multi-tasking or because I almost never turned off random encounters. You slots to configure what actions your characters wil…3 found this helpful
I want to like this game, I really do, but between having some of the worst balancing I've ever seen in a game and the constant crashes I just can't. The enemies just have massive hp pools while simutaneously almost one shotting your units. I'm working on a quest that has a recommonded level of 13 with lvl 20 units and can only just barely clear it, only to immediatly have the game crash on me. I load the game up again, only for it to crash again. It's shameful the game is in this state.1 found this helpful
Wayblazer Dämmerung is a really nice surprise. As Eushully’s first game released on Steam, it honestly feels special seeing one of their titles finally arrive on the platform. The gameplay and worldbuilding still have that classic Eushully charm, and I’m really hoping this is just the beginning. Hopefully more Eushully games will come to Steam in the future! 🙏1 found this helpful
I made a negative review as petty revenge for the game's poorly thought out exit menu (bound to esc key) as it crashes the game if you chose to continue instead of exit to title or close the game a little while before this, so this time I'm going to make a serious one. Yes. the game is a grind fest. I made a macro and used speedhack to afk farm for money and xp overnight in order to just have enough to buy stuffs and not get wrecked by endgame bosses (that was before I tried dru- *ahem* stacking buffs on my party) The difficulty is pretty rough even on normal and playing NG on hard mode is borderline insanity. But the difficulty is something I appreciate, weirdly enough, because it is very in line with the game's story as it is about a bunch of nobodies tryhard. The H-Scenes, while high quality, are a little disconnected with the story. At the end of my first playthrough I went "Wdym you went back to your life? Brother there's like 6 women in your party and you slept with all of them, whispering honeyed words and stuff and you didn't even marry any of them?" Although it is hinted that 2 of them actually ended up with the protag in the true end bonus H-Scene, nothing concrete though…1 found this helpful
Was gonna give this positive lifetime achievement review despite this game being bad BUT there is a huge point of no return final dungeon with a massive level spike. Some real early 90s stuff.1 found this helpful
Finally Eushully making official translations. So the biggest issue i'm seeing people saying is that the game play is very different from Kamidori Alchemist and yes its very true. Basically theirs a few different styles Eushully use for games, this is closer to the Battle Goddess games. No idea why they decided to make it like that instead of a meister game but they did. Hope we get more of their games in the future.
