About Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space

✦ AI summary

Explore a randomly generated galaxy, discover alien civilizations, and engage in real-time starship combat across the mysterious Purple Void. This roguelike delivers full campaigns in under 30 minutes with procedurally remixed worlds, turn-based exploration, and mod support for infinite replayability.

Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space is a hybrid "roguelike" game of space exploration and starship combat set within a peculiar, as-yet-unvisited region of the galaxy known as the Purple Void. Each time it is played, a new and different "sector prime" and its vast frontier are randomly generated. Locations of stars and nebulae, homeworlds of alien races, distribution of lifeforms and artifacts, plot-twisting quest events--the whole game is remixed.

Note that unlike common roguelikes that last dozens of hours, Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space plays to its conclusion in less than thirty minutes - it's the perfect lunch break game! Features also include a fully animated star map, a unique turn-based movement system, real-time starship battles (at naval battle speeds, not "Super-Melee"), award-winning music and sound, and a robust battle simulator. Weird Worlds also has built-in support for community-created mods that can change anything and everything in the game!

runs pretty well on low end pc's, it's a "dumb little game" which also happens to be fun, i've got mine for free but for a dollar it's worth the 5 - 6 hours of fun you'll have outta this.

This game's demo was a nostalgic staple for me, back when I had very few games to play on my family's Mac :D It remains pretty great and enjoyable, though without a ton of depths. Pretty sure there are mods though!

Utter trash... No clue what to do, tiny endless text, terrible battles, no real point to this game
