About Welcome to Ukraine
I've come to the realization that there's so much about my own country that I don't know. In light of this, I've developed a game to share my journey of discovering Ukraine. It's Jigsaws with lot of useful features. Through this interactive experience, I hope to offer insights into the rich culture, history, and beauty of our country. I hope it will be interesting not only for jigsaw puzzle lovers;)
I want to keep this game free and I will update it from time to time with new pictures and features
I will try to deal with local photographers to provide more quality pictures and facts of my country.
Also, you can check my other puzzle game (which uses the same engine) Master of Pieces - Jigsaw Puzzles!
Enjoy game and share your thoughts! Peace!
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, banal AI generated content.
"Welcome to Ukraine" is a basic kind of "asset flip", essentially a simple Unity jigsaw puzzle template with some images either stolen off the internet or, as the warning tells us, generated AI slop. Truly, if there's anything that's the opposite of creativity in game development, it's the intellectual and creative bankruptcy going on here. At least they're not trying to scam money out of gamers for this... yet. It's just a basic jigsaw puzzle, there's hundreds of these you can play on mobile phones or in your web browser. Steam is not here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it doesn't belong in your Steam library. And the AI slop... never acceptable. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter.
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 73 / 447 Category: Villain Protagonist "Villain Protagonist? More Like Puzzle Protagonist" This game is a head-scratcher, and not because of its puzzles. Despite being labeled as “villain protagonist,” “FPS,” “American,” “horror,” and even “capitalism,” it’s just… a puzzle game. You pick a puzzle, it chops it up, and you put it back together. That’s it. The genres slapped onto this game make no sense, and any expectation of a story, themes, or gameplay tied to a “villain protagonist” is completely misleading. On the bright side, it’s free, but even free might feel like too high a price for the confusion it delivers. If you’re looking for puzzles, you’ve found them. If you’re looking for literally anything else, keep scrolling.1 found this helpful
Download this game just for the photos and the information about Ukraine! The bonuses are the puzzles with several formats, and the music! I recognise the sound of a flute I bought long before the war and hearing it as it should be played is wonderful! As for the AI section, this is what we would see if the war had not started. For puzzlers, there are plenty of jigsaws with several different formats of pieces, and plenty of choices of difficulty, from a few pieces to hundreds. And for free, its far more than we should expect!1 found this helpful
