Reality is subjective. One day you’re a small-town cop, the next your world turns upside down. You think you’re out on routine patrol, but it’s an endless, living nightmare.
I know. I live it every day.
My name is Peter Bennet, and I’m a Detective. Not long ago I discovered that Westwood was built on lies. When the rotten foundation of what I called my home collapsed, it took my family with it. I’m not sure how, or why, but their death wasn’t an accident.
Coming back to Westwood opened a box of memories and unfinished business; a box that could never be closed again. I knew that whatever the cost to get the answers that I needed, it wouldn’t even come close to what I’ve already paid in blood. The answers I found…were worse than I could’ve imagined.
There are shadows in Westwood…and I think I know why.
Westwood Shadows: Prologue introduces the story of Peter Bennet, a detective unraveling a surreal mystery in his abandoned hometown. He soon finds that not everything in Westwood is what it seems, that there are deadly shadows clawing at his mind, and that the mystery might have answers he doesn’t want to know.
The experience will continue with Westwood Shadows (Coming in 2022) and feature combat, a greater variety of riddles and puzzles, and other exciting mechanics. We are looking forward to community feedback and an even better development process as we grow.

Terrible, Frustrating puzzle mystery game. Rubbish do not buy if you hate frustrating puzzles. Started off good with investigtion and hidden objects and qutie interesting but quickly the game got more frustrating and complex and annoying with frustrating puzzles like the basement wine barrels code and the worst part the Steam Valve Binary Code Puzz;e... Thats where I quit in the end. I watched someone on youtube and wrote ti down and it didnt work for me. Nahhh rubbish....quit...not buying full game after seeing the prologue.
"Westwood Shadows: Prologue" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Westwood Shadows". Westwood Shadows is not anything related to the beloved and destroyed Westwood studios that created the beloved Dune 2 and Command & Conquer games. Instead it's a (possibly asset flipped) looking first person horror adventure (possibly not one of the worst, even if asset flipped). But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Westwood Shadows, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Westwood Shadows: Prologue" too. There's a correct process to publish game demos and advertisements like this on Steam. Such a reall cool Prologue. I was into it from the start and the whole building of the game is really nice. I will definately buy the full game. I can really highly recommend this Prologue
THIS. GAME. IS. TRASH, TRASH, AND ALSO GARBAGE. IF YOU PLAY THIS GAME FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES YOU WILL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. ITS ALL EXTREMELY BORING AND THE END WAS A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CUTSCENE, NOT EVEN A PROPER JUMPSCARE. ♥♥♥♥. YOU.
