About Wheel of Fate

Welcome to the land of Providence. The Wheel of Fate has chosen you to be its Avatar and save the world.

Fate is the force that connects all beings, maintaining order in the universe, while an ancient enemy known as The Affliction thrives on chaos. As it spreads throughout the cosmos it severs the threads of Fate’s connection, turning those it infects into deranged beings known as The Fateless. And in this battle, The Affliction is winning. So, The Wheel of Fate must pull back its shroud and reveal itself in the land of Providence and choose an Avatar to act through; a champion to fight the Fateless hordes and find the secret to defeating the Affliction. You are that champion, the Avatar of the Wheel of Fate!
This is classic RPG at it’s finest! Start by customizing the race, gender, appearance, and class of your adventurer. Then step right into a battle!

In retro RPG style, you can focus on your strategy in the turn-based battles. And then we gave you a click-time enhancement upgrade, so you can use your well-honed gamer reflexes and increase the damage of your attack and defence.

As you adventure, you’ll collect tons of loot, run dungeons, complete quests, craft better equipment, and of course, level up. Customize your character build to maximize your preferred gameplay style and get OP.
To defeat The Affliction you will need to open areas long since sealed away that can only be accessed by a shift in reality. Nothing to it right? As the Avatar you have the power to spin the Wheel of Fate and change reality and the world around you. The changes are random and can affect everything: Quests, Difficulty, NPCs, Stores, Maps, Dialogue, Easter Eggs; right down to the ambient lighting!
Wheel of Fate uses an innovative Artificial Intelligence that acts as the Dungeon Master. It sits quietly in the background and learns about how you like to play.

As the AI learns your preferred style it makes slight adjustments to adapt the gameplay without you noticing. It has a wide range of options to change including loot, environment, storylines, quests, NPCs, dialogue, and random events. The next time you play it might change things in a whole new way as it learns more about how you like to game.
But if that all wasn’t enough, Wheel of Fate has hidden Easter eggs everywhere! As a reward for your hard work exploring the world, we have hidden tons of references to retro games & pop culture from the 80’s and 90’s.
Changing & adapting gameplay depending on your decisions, so choose wisely! Come at the game from a totally different angle next time and watch the world adjust. Ultra-cool dungeon master AI that adapts the game to you.
Get all the cool RPG stuff like levelling, classes, dungeons, quests, equipment, and crafting! All important and thrilling side quests that you won’t want to miss - because who doesn’t need a little more loot? Loot you say? With billions of gear combinations, build your character how you want.
Classic turn-based combat with an Active Response Battle system - it’s a quick time enhancement - so your well-honed gamer reflexes already give you an advantage.
Kismet’s Fall will become your town to manage and defend. Upgrade buildings and prepare for sieges. Speaking of Kismet’s Fall - get your own digs! Build and customize your own home.
New dungeons that are AI-procedurally created every time the wheel is spun. And much more!

Interesting game and seems like it could be a lot of fun but I had too many small issues making it unplayable. What caused me to give up was getting to the first "boss" fight and the game got stuck in an endless loop forcing me to close it down and restart. Several other visual and menu issues as well as the dialogue popping up and leaving faster than I could read it aloud while streaming. Just all around made the experience not enjoyable. Hopefully some fixes and QOL features come soon and I may check the game out again.

Понятно что у ребят не было бюджета, но вторичны и примитивны именно геймплей и игровая задумка

This game is a mess - pure and simple. It has some neat ideas, but as I've said before and will say again: having ideas, no matter how good they are, do not automatically make a game good if they're poorly implemented. Unfortunately, this is [i[very much the case here. First off, I will admit that the premise is interesting - you get branded an Avatar of Fate after a mishap while hunting down cultists who laid waste to your village. What this brings is an ever-shifting dungeon that gets different modifiers applied to it... if you can even get back to said dungeon after your first outing. You see, instead of letting you explore this dungeon, it instead throws a whole bunch of busy-work at you to set you up for the other major - or what I would assume would be a major - part of this game: town management. The cult that you're hunting is dead-set on destroying the town that is nearby this dungeon... for, I dunno, reasons? It doesn't really make sense especially since it's the main character that they're after and not so much the town. Regardless, it's up to the player to manage defenses, take care of requests and improve the town. While this is all neat, it's handled…

It feels incomplete but has lots of potiential. It has a day night system that seems to be purely cosmetic, same for the weather system. there is only 4 locations in the game, Town, Forest dungon, sewer dungon and temple dungon that continously changes. The town buildings get damaged ridiculously often. the crafting system is finicky and doesn't work. on rare occassions monsters spawn in walls. you have to exit and load to spawn quests on ocassion. The world feels slightly empty like the docks. It seems to only have 1 chapter of main story.

I played it a little bit and planned to finish it, it's the type of game that is not revolutionary but makes the effort of proposing a chill and fun game, buy it if you want to support a indie game

This game is unacceptably bugged (clearly never properly tested) and tries to do too many different thing to do a single thing greatly, especially for an indie game. THE BUGS : I only played 2.7 hours, and I was planning on continuing, but I encountered three major bug that just killed the game, and two of them were enough by themselves to quit the game. The first bug is an inventory bug, I had an item that started duplicating, and I ended up having it about 8 times in my inventory. I sold them, but ended up with 3 more, that I sold as well. Moving them around in my inventory moved other items around, and it feels like other items disappeared from my inventory. Inventory issues were mentionned by the dev almost a year ago day for day, but it is still broken. I did not trust the inventory anymore. The second was a softlock. In other reviews, softlocks were mentioned, and I can confirm they occur. In the main quest I had to go talk to someone (marked with a red exclamation mark on the map), but I went outside of the town, and came back. There was a second red exclamation mark, but none of them had the character I was supposed to talk with. It seems likes I soft locked myself by g…
