Good game from indie developers. Several genres in one game, is that something new? Graphics looks quality and nice. The soundtrack is also good. At first I did not understand what was going on, but then I understood how to play and got a great game experience. Generally a good indie game, I recommend to buy.5 found this helpful
Where Are My Friends? is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one is very amateurish and has you guiding an eyeball robot thing to go find all your friend robot things or whatever. But really, when a game is delivered this poorly, plot doesn't matter because nobody is going to play it. See below for the peak player counts, but spoiler, it's low, real low. One important note is that even though this is an amateur project, it does seem to be sincerely and genuinely made. I couldn't find any flipped assets, plagiarism or any other kind of insincere actions from the developer, but unfortunately genuine intentions alone are not enough to produce a brilliant PC gaming experience. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The artwork here is terrible, it's all just backdrops and assets that seem to have been assembled using MS-Paint, coupled with a few amateurish "My First Wacom Tablet" style hand drawing as backdrops, used instead professional looking game assets. It's unclear if this is due to lac…3 found this helpful
[th]
Where are my friends?
[/th] [th]

Rating
Personal Rating: A Very confusing title with no explanation into what exactly it's about. Many randomized puzzle's but yet again no explanation on the game itself. Have an idea that the puzzles are related to the spaceship that needs repaired to find his friends. If this is the case maybe it should be added to the game for an explanation. Traditional Rating: 4 out of 10 Genre: Strategy Puzzle Platformer
Review
Story 00/10 Fun 00/10 Action 00/10 Graphics 04/10 ""Need's more development but would recommended for the puzzle player's when extremely bored!""
Conclusion
Need's more development time and a actual tutorial or explanation on what this title is fully about. Can't see any other potential and i would'nt recommend. Yet the character need's a better design than a unicle. Maybe if the character was a moving eyeball it would be a far better design piece. A lovely and innovative little puzzle platformer that will keep you intrigued. Uncover Wheye's story through images and symbols as you explore this strange and silent world. Highly polished. a mellow experience. plays exactly how it looks. sometimes relaxin, sometimes a little iritatin.
I bought this literally just because of the title so that I could passively aggressively annoy my friends. The game actually has some decent music and art. I wish that the gameplay design matched the level of detail and care in the art and music. The gameplay was bit clunky, as though it's just the most basic controls possible. There's clearly some thought put into the puzzles, but it's not very intuitive. It plays like a learning project on how to make a 2d platformer and, from that perspective, it's really good! In a library like Steam with endless alternatives, this will be immensely overshadowed by all the options that are more thoroughly fleshed out with smoother controls and gameplay.
