Set in the town of Beardsville, where the law requires every citizen to have a beard, you wake up one morning to the horror of all horrors...someone has stolen your beard! You and your loyal dog Leo must uncover the truth of this dastardly crime. Find new beards, help the community, look for clues, and discover a conspiracy deep in the heart of Beardsville. Can you solve the crime before the annual Beard Festival?

Explore Beardsville. The suburbs, university, museum, park, city hall and industrial districts are just a few of the places to visit.
Solve puzzles and unlock new beards to gain access to restricted areas and clues.
Fulfill the townsfolk's requests. Sometimes a cup of coffee can be the start of a beautiful relationship. Fulfilling the requests of the townsfolk will earn you their favor and trust, unlocking new avenues of investigation.
Collaborate with your dog, Leo, to discuss case clues, suspects and plan of action. He may be a little sardonic, but he tells a great dad joke.

Funny game with loads of bugs (and the last update even broke quests): I have accidentally skipped a large chunk of main questline ([spoiler]Jumped from "get into Natalie's house" to "talk to the professor"[/spoiler]) just by talking to people in the Town Hall. Also, you can't get a number of beards(Chin Strip, Extended Goatee, Soul Patch, Van ♥♥♥♥, Circle) legally, which breaks a number of quests. Will still recommend, hoping that the devs will fix the game eventually.1 found this helpful
Don't spend your time on this game. It has bugs that prevent you from acquiring certain beards, meaning you cannot complete it without workarounds and you can never 100% it. The game also has plenty of other bugs, issues, and annoyances. [h2]Bugs[/h2] 1) You can't get some of the beards, blocking normal progression. One of these beards is the Van Dy ke beard. Good game but you need patience to play it. It keeps freezing and that makes you have to shut down the game and restart at your last save.
This is a fun game. The game reminds me of some of the games I had on my old Amstrad 464 in the 80's, but with slightly better graphics and much better game play without the 64K memory restriction. Being a game of this bracket does mean the controls are a bit clunky but it sort of adds to the charm of the game. There are a couple of bugs that still need to be ironed out. It has frozen on me twice during my game play. Basically just a fun game that distracts you from the modern fast paced, multi function, high concentration games. I think the game may be a bit overpriced and would like to see it at maybe £5.99 instead of £7.19. I got it in a bundle so it worked out cheaper. Even with the freezing bug, I still recommend the game.
