About Wildlife Park

Here is your chance to create a giant and beautiful zoo. A park so amazing, it would be impossible to build in real life. In Wildlife Park you must build an animal park from scratch, managing it so your visitors will spend their money. You begin with just the park area, a ticket booth, and some money. From there you can buy animals, build the zoo, hire employees, and then open the gates and let the visitors come.

Features:
• 45 detailed, seamlessly animated and simulated species ranging from mammals and reptiles to birds and marine animals
• Fascinating, challenging, and realistic animal behavior in areas such as reproduction, socialization, aging, birth, aggression, and "trainability"
• Animals can be trained with a huge variety of interaction devices such as trampolines, ropes, slides, trees, and video screens
• Aside from the 20 missions there are (potential) zoo locations around the world awaiting the player to master zoo management under these different preconditions.
• Choose a variety of terrains with different climates, environmental sounds, and music themes to start your park in. But be careful in your choices in climates and animals, as keeping a polar bear happy in the Sahara is an incredible challenge!
• No single goal to reach the finish of the game. The park has to be managed well to gain access to new areas, attractions, and more importantly, exotic animals
• No-limits landscaping at various heights, many plants, bridge constructions, ponds, rivers and waterfalls, and buildings
• 10 professions for your personnel to care for the animals and park: Feeder, Garbage, Zookeeper, Animal Catcher, Gardener, Scoutmaster, Vet, Worker, Animal Trainer, First-Aid
• Great athmosphere wirht realistic sounds and corresponding music themes.
• Building architecture style differs by climate
• Transparent walls give visitors a better view of marine animals, allowing you to build underwater observation rooms

Saw this game pop up on Facebook, clicked through to check it out, and yep—instant buy as birthday gift for me. I've always loved Zoo Tycoon and pretty much any tycoon game; that's what I grew up playing. When i did loaded it up, i got immediately blasted with super loud menu music—nearly jumped out of my seat. Wasn't expecting that welcome party, but what you expect from old games from the 2000's but all in all Graphics aren't top-tier, but they're fine and I have no complaints there. The only real issues I've run into are that you can't reliably Alt-Tab out without problems, and when I tried picking up animals from the delivery crate to place them, the screen completely freaked out—full-on glitching and spazzing like crazy. Other than that, it's a solid game. but I'm hoping to get my daughter into it too, since the new computers don't have CD drives anymore and the original Zoo Tycoon games are basically impossible to find in proper digital form these days, unless you can get CD drive in. but Fingers crossed she'll enjoy it, and maybe one day the classics will show up properly on Steam or somewhere.

Pretty good.

This game has been sitting unplayed in my library for forever so I thought that I'd at least see if it works. And it does baseline work, even though I have a brand new PC and everything. Though as is usually the case with games this age, it's just a little bit glitchy - the command to increase the work area of an employee was flat out not working, pretty sure that wasn't user error. Also the interface is just... not good. Ultimately I can't recommend it just because there are so many games without these hassles, but if you're want it for nostalgia purposes and are worried about it not working at all, I can tell you it worked for me.

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU EXPECT SOMETHING OUT OF THIS WORLD! Recommended for those who love the nostalgia feel of the good old zoo games. Yes the graphics are bad, no it doesn't work as good as modern games. It is very much playable though. I completed all achievements after 100 hours of gameplay, because i felt the need to after playing this game so much when i was a little kid. Little Tip: If you wanna go for completionist as well, the game crashes when you try to tab out of it. Turn fullscreen off and put it at 800x600 resolution. This way you can do other things on your pc while waiting for the visitor or money achievement without it crashing.

I played this game a lot as a kid. It's an oldy but still has some charm. If you like older sand box/management sims it's worth a go.

Got this ages ago cause I wanted it to scratch that "zoo tycoon" itch. But it really doesn't The game is barely playable, from what I have been reading its because the steam version butchered it. Do not waste your money on this please
