This sixth entry in the Witches' Legacy series is better than entries two to five, but still doesn't get a thumbs up from me. The improvement is in gameplay: more intricate and challenging point-and-click puzzles. Unfortunately, it's the same concept as previous games (except the first Witches' Legacy), which means that most of the puzzles are "magical" and make no real-world sense and deduction won't help you. As an example, in one puzzle you light a censer with flower oil, which stimulates a magical pyramid, which releases ... a necklace. Makes sense, right? ;) Also unfortunately the story is as bad as any of the previous games, possibly worse. Remarkably there are practically no characters in this game, they are just one-dimensional props for the puzzles. Have the writers just given up entirely?1 found this helpful
Another good game in this series, although not as good as the previous ones. Good story and good length. My only complaint is that a lot of the mini-games were ridiculously easy. Other than that, I liked the game.1 found this helpful
good storyline development as I was getting tired of always saving Lynn I know the game is old but it is just a heads up for anyone else wanting to play this series which is good
I really adore this series. Too bad this is the last game available on Steam. Thankfully, I got the rest of the series on another site. I highly recommend Witches' Legacy series. Art is gorgeous, it has a really good storyline, puzzles are challenging, but not impossible, and the hidden object scenes can be quite tricky for those wanting a challenge. One of the best series I've played. None a dud so far. Dark Parables used to be my favorite HOPA game series, but now I think Witches' Legacy has beaten it.
This game will not save your progress. You start from the beginning every time!
One of my favourite HOPA series. Likeable characters, fair puzzles, good HOG scenes, decent story (that continues from one game to the next), even romance and a likeable helper. If you enjoy HOPAs, this series is a good one.
