In this mystical hidden object adventure an ordinary hot air balloon ride turns extraordinary when you accidentally wind up on a mysterious island. When it is revealed that this mystical land is ruled by an evil witch, you begin to realize that your arrival is not a coincidence, and the loyal people of the island are depending on you to defeat the evil witch. Under the latest versions of Windows 11, the game forcibly changes your desktop resolution, then crashes, displaying only a black screen. The developer is aware of this game breaking defect and chooses not to fix it. Legacy - Witch Island is a mobile app tier Artifex Mundi style hidden object iPhone screen tapper game. You're presented with various scenes and must navigate between them, and reveal puzzle minigames, by tapping on hotspots. Minigames are mostly hidden object searches, etc etc. It's been done thousands of times before, all better than this. From a technical perspective, if you can get the game to work, you'll find the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. I play mostly HOG & puzzle games. This HOG is good, mostly ho-hum. It is all HOG, one after another.
Aesthetics are lovely, gameplay and plot are subpar. Not worth the time/money
