AI slop, unimaginative game play loop.... has no redeeming qualities that I can find. HARD pass..... just, no....NO.

terrible and buggy. the end turn button randomly disapears and the games slog on where you only draw two a turn never being able to finish a match

It’s a really fun and lively game to play. It does take a bit of time to learn at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes super enjoyable. The graphics are very eye-catching and the overall vibe is great. I’ve already played multiple matches and keep coming back. Definitely recommend if you like strategy games.

Wizard’s Gambit is a really nice little strategy card game that I enjoyed more than I expected. The idea is simple enough to understand quickly, but there is still enough room for planning because every card I place can change the state of the board. I liked the fantasy setting and the focus on choosing a magical faction before trying to outplay the opponent. The main gameplay revolves around tactical card placement, with the position of my cards being just as important as the cards themselves. I have to think ahead, combine abilities and decide when it is worth committing to a particular part of the board. I enjoyed this because the game gives me a reason to pay attention to every move instead of simply playing the strongest card available. The faction system is another part I really liked. I can choose between different magical schools, each with its own identity, and then build my strategy around the cards and powers available to that faction. The evolving deck system gives me something to experiment with as well, and I enjoyed seeing how different combinations could change the way a match develops.
